Tomorrow I Think I'm Getting A Vinyl Player With Encoding Where You Can Turn Vinyl's Into MP3's. Once I Have The Vinyl I'll Try My Best To Help Out :-) I'm Sorry If This Comes Across As Really Mean But Capital Letters Only Go At The Start Of Sentences. E.g. I'm sorry if this comes across as really mean but capital letters only go at the start of sentences, unless it's for a proper noun (e.g. a place name or person's name) as in "I went to London to meet up with Jay and Thomas". Don't hate me ;D Strictly speaking that is grammatically correct, but just as e e cummings is famous for writing in lower case, a few of my friends capitalize the first letter of every word. Not grammatically correct, and probably an affectation.

There are still tickets available at: www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/2200....and=uk_bcunwindThis is referred to in the thread on Tour Dates, Available / Requested tickets: patrickwolf.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=live&thread=3612&page=1I'm looking forward to this show, as well as the Guildford and Cardiff ones. I now have all my tickets, and have booked hotels in Cardiff and Guildford. It's cheaper for me to stay an extra night in Guildford for the London one, even taking account of the train to London and back, than staying in London. I hope to meet other PW fans. I'm easily spotted as I'm very tall, grey / white balding hair, specs, and aged 65, although I'm told I look younger, so please come to chat with me.

Sorry to be pedantic, but I note that this thread is not in the "Live" section.
I suppose discussions about meet ups should be in the Community Room. There are a few of us going to all 3 gigs, and others going to one or two, and it would be good to meet up for a pre-gig drink or three, just to get to meet and know other Wolfies.

I also now have tickets for all 3 venues. Really ecstatic. I bought them early on and have also booked train to Cardiff, train to Guildford, and hotels in Cardiff and Guildford (2 nights), and a train back home. I'm commuting from Guildford to London as London hotels are too expensive.

I've already started looking up train times in case I can make it down .... I can get to Cardiff relatively cheaply on the Sunday, then go across to Guildford, surprisingly cheaply; stay there 2 nights and commute to London for the 3rd gig, then the next day back to London and back up north. All I need is to get the tickets on Monday and I can then get the trains and hotels booked. I really am looking forward to these gigs. In our family we haven't exchanged Christmas presents for the last 40 odd years, so this will be a Christmas present to myself.

My day had gone all wrong. Today was going to be THE day I tidied up the lounge. I've been getting the energy and motivation all week, and then a friend asked if I could give them a lift. Well I went to the rescue. On the way back I decided to do my weekend supermarket shopping. I fear I'm giving you all too much information here.
I was in Booth's supermarket in Ilkley when suddenly my phone started playing Damaris - a sign that I had a new email, and what a splendid email it is.
Is it selfish of me to want to go to all 3 shows?
Now I'll be looking up train times, venue, and hotel details details. I suspect I'll only get to 2, Guildford and London, if I can get tickets.
By the way I think when it says Wednesday December 3rd it means Wednesday November 3rd, as that's "next week" and is also a Wednesday, while 3rd December is a Friday.

My lack of self control. I went to the supermarket to buy fresh fruit, and washing liquid only, and succombed to a bag of licorice.

No need to feel a dumbass, but you missed out on the wine. I nearly spoke to you when I put some stuff in the rubbish bin. I shall keep an eye on the Duchess. A friend of mine, Sean Brown used to go there quite a bit.

edit - erm, that was a 'Yay, I now know that it was Michael who got rid of karma, so yay to that' - I wasn't just yaying his presence. Though I can do that in future if he would like. I'd prefer a fanfare and rose petals, tbh. Cheerio, Michael. xxx I exalt you for doing it.

While my ideal date would be a guy I saw (both of us fully clothed) washing his hands in the gents at Bush Hall at the end of the gig (where did he go?), now I've met Rhi, I think we could have a good date together as friends.

At last I've arrived home after an truly fantastic gig. What a voice Patrick has, and a lovely personality. It was an brilliantly intimate gig, and I met some super people.

So I have Vultures' phone number (don't know her "given" name). Shepherd's Bush Green seems pretty big, so which end - that nearest Bush Hall and the tennis courts, or somewhere in the middle, or the otherm farthest away end by the statue?
I don't really know what any of you look like. I'm tall, balding, specs, overweight, white / grey hair.
Will be wearing either a shirt with small flowers on it or / and a t shirt with black splodges on it, and jeans, perhaps blue, or black, and either yellow Converse boots or black shoes.
There's a Sainsbury's on Uxbridge Road (at least there's one there according to Google Earth), so that's where I'll buy the booze. No point in me bringing it from up north. It will be too much of a temptation on the train, (and too heavy).
I will book into my Travelodge at 3pm or thereabouts and will then make my way to Shepherd's Bush Green / Common, which is about 38 mins away from my Travelodge by bus.

Am I allowed to get really excited about this?
Because I am, to meet other fans at the patnic, and then to see the delectable, multi-talented Mr. Wolf, as well as Martin Bjorck, whose music I don't know.
I feel like an over excited child (albeit a rather tall 65 year old one), in a car going to the seaside for the first time, consistently asking "Are we there yet"? It's not long now, and the weather forecast this morning for Thursday was good (Dry, 23 degrees), just right for a patnic.

That's 2 bottles of rose with an acute accent, (cba to do a Goggle search to find the code for an acute accent), and a few cans of Strongbow? And I'll bring a tirez bouchon as well, and something to drink the wine out of.

So what should I bring? White wine or red wine, or some other alcohol? or something else? Don't want to leave any undrunk as I suspect they won't allow us to take any into the venue.
