So he is one of the artists I am talking about in my dissertation. Anyway, I saw, or rather 'experienced' his piece 'The Coral Reef' a few months ago and it has stuck with me so strong that I now want to explore his entire back catalogue. www.mattsgallery.org/artists/nelson/exhibition-3.phpAnyway, I loved that piece, this one ^ I've not seen although sits on a pretty similar platform. I'm getting increasingly interested in the recreation of spaces other than just the representation of. In an interview he was saying about how the work was constructed so that is isn't like a set, but feels real, like even the weight of the door closing is real, and the rooms were constructed from a combination of real life (reconstruction a taxi rank in Balham) or inspired from science fiction, etc. Anyway, thought I'd share, in an attempt to make people visit more, hence the half-arsed posting, because I'm preoccupied but I want to liven this place up anyway

I like that thing, but it scares me. The wire stuff reminds me of scary museum exhibits and stuff, like a war-time museum
