I watched Wristcutters last night, and it was pretty good. I did kind of fall asleep during it, but that wasn't the movie's fault at all.

30 Days Of Night...I'm still undecided about what I think of it. It suppose it was quite good, it made a nice change to see vampires depicted as scary. They weren't the usual aristocratic, mopey, tragically beautiful types; they were fucking vicious, creepy characters with Chris Cunningham faces. It was certainly very brutal - one scene in particular has really disturbed me, and violent scenes in films don't usually bother me.
And! Josh Hartnett WASN'T THAT BAD.

I saw "Amator (Camera Buff)" (Krzyastof Kieslowski) in cinema class the other day. Its about this man who gets a video camera to film his daughter and ends up being obsessed with filming things and starts a club at his work and wins a contest and it ruins his marriage. But since it's a Polish film from before the iron curtain fell, its also political and about self expression under a suppressive government. it was beautifully shot (does *not* look like a movie from the 70s/80s, could be filmed more recently), and although it didn't change my life i really enjoyed watching it.

Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. Without a doubt the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Back to the Future Part 1 was the last film I saw. It was completely excellent.
My first car is soooo getting a Flux Capacitor put in the backseat.

Before Sunrise on Meryl's (months old!) recommendation.
I enjoyed it, even if the situation and highly instantaneously open nature of the conversations between the protagonist literally seemed to good to be true or perhaps believable. I liked the unspoken tension between said protagonist's conflicting world views and the like, I guess it was like a realistic, fantasy or something. Hurry for contradictions! 8/10.
I preferred Slacker from Mr Linklater I think.

I watched Strangers On A Train yesterday during my free periods. Hitchcock was very clever. Only he could make a tennis match suspenseful. I loved it. There were murders and a fairground and a weird, and most probably gay, stalker lunatic who likes strangling people.

For it's time it's really great. I saw Coffee and Cigarettes.

I saw Step Up 2. For what it was, i actually enjoyed it loads. I cried* and laughed and wanted to shake mah booty so that makes a pretty good film, in my opinion.
I also watched 40 minutes of A Good Year with Russel Crowe in but then left the room because I was bored out of my skull
*This means nothing. I cried at Ashes To Ashes last night.
