Ha, thank you. The show's the same night as my prom so I now have a handy excuse not to go:
"No, sorry, can't make it to the prom - I have a previous engagement with Lou Reed."
It'll be a nice post-GCSE treat.

I saw Morrissey last year, in the Stirling Albert Hall, which is a really odd place for him to play, its rather small, not in a sorta small club way I've even played there, which shows how odd it is for him to play there But still, at least i can say i've played on the same stage as Morrissey Anyhoo, the only gig I've got planned is the Indian Summer festival in Glasgow in July, although that's got The Flaming Lips headlining, so i'm happy! I can't really hope to get onstage with them again though........

Indian Summer looks actually super this year, but I can't go because I'm all out of cash from Connect tickets. CYHSY are playing Indian Summer, yeah?

Just saw The Blow live. Everyone was waiting for the main act so we had to tell them to shut up. Khaela is just adorable. I yelled for a song, and she was all "it should have been on my list", and then a little later when people had assholed around a bit more she changed her playbacked setlist for me and played my song! "This one's for the guy who wanted it! Yes, you!" and pointed at me. And I got a drawing from her and bought her records of course. Good show. Screw SlagsmÄlsklubben. Their music is good, their fans and themselves are assholes.

April - Yann Tiersen May - Roy Harper, Marissa Nadler, Jack Rose (supporting Hawk and a Hacksaw).
Dunno what after that. I'm disorganised, innit. I'd love to see The Books though, and Animal Collective again.

I think I am too far away from major cities. And I have no car or friends. Which is not-so-good and I haven't been to a single gig in a year.
