When I first listened to the magic position I felt the most amazing feeling that I have never felt before about music. I felt so happy that I couldn't help but jump around with a massive grin and my thumbs up ;D(I was on webcam to a friend at this point and sort of freaked them out!!!). For the next few days after I listened to it, I felt so happy that I was just smiling constantly even though most people around me were biting each others heads off! I can't describe exactly how the song made me feel but it was wonderful, I hope I kind of explained it ok. Did anybody else feel something like this? (This was the first version of it I'd heard - www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdK2pgfkOHc)All over any piece of paper I write "to live, to learn, to love, in the major key" now! I just think it's a wonderful thing to say and it reminds me of the song and makes me happy. Also it is what I would like! Ix:D ps. Sorry if this sounds OTT passionate - it's kinda hard to explain pps. Sorry if this post goes on a bit (I do ramble on a bit sometimes!) ppps. Sorry, I apologise a lot he he

I accidentally left the CD in my mother's car's CD player. Yesterday morning as I was getting up, my mother was coming in from somewhere and the first thing she said to me was, "Is that that Patrick Wolf guy in my car? I like it!" which is a good way to start the day. And then today I was driving her around places and we were listening to it together and I had to force myself to stop smiling ridiculously. She was giving me odd looks and it was making me nervous.

Aww, that's sweet. I once had it blasting from our living room stereo, and my mum came in and made me dance with her to 'Get Lost'. It was lovely.

eh as lame as it sounds when I first heard it i felt like I was falling in love again.
ah. and on and even more embarrasing note If I'm walking or something when he gets to that stomping part I'm guilty of stomping as well, I of course make sure no one is in a visual range of me, first.

I watched the video over and over again while waiting for the cd to reach the US. As a result, I pretty much had the whole dance down by heart by the time I got the cd, so I would do it whenever possible.
(As a result, my 'hxc' friends don't seem too keen on sharing musical interests with me anymore..)
Does anyone else think that The Magic Position would have been AWESOME as a song used in Billy Elliot?

It actually makes me look forward to taking the bus in the morning on the way to school, my own little happy time with Patrick! I absolutely adore it, i think i've spent half my life since I got it dancing like crazy around my house, and in my head when in public...

i have large, theatrical sing-alongs, usually along the lines of:
"ALLL TOGETHER NOW!!
CAUSE, IT'S YOUUUUUUU WHOOOOOO-OOOO PUTS ME IN THE *PELVIC THRUST* MA-GIC *COME ON, DON'T BE SHY* PO-SI-TION, DAHHLING NOW AND YOUUUUU-UUUUU PUT ME IN THE *PELVIC THRUST* THE MAJOR KEY!"
very loud, obnoxious, and flamboyant. i love it.
