Hi board members,
This is my 1st post. I wanted to say that at my age of 44, the term "fan" should be interpreted in a relative way ... I've listened many music and haven't been a fan of anything, but in the case of Patrick Wolf I'm opening an exception. Its undoubtely one of the most talented musicians I've listened.
So I heard its comming a new record, The Conqueror? I'll buy it eyes closed as soon as it is in pre-order. PW music is a joy to ears and soul...
Regards

Hi and thanks for feedback, here's something about me: My name is Paulo, I live in Madeira Island, Portugal, married with a daughter of 18 (!). Besides work (IT), my hobbies are Photography, MTB, playing Xbox and Music of course. Some of my preferred authors go from Enigma, Mike Oldfield, Andrew Bird, Dead Can Dance, Loreena Mckennitt, Noah and the Whale to I am X, Goldfrapp, Aqueduct, Animal Collective, Dead Cab for Cutie or Tindersticks, as examples... I also like some psych like Infected Mushroom, some pop and rock too, I am not very picky ... but very few classic and almost none of metal. What I find in Patrick Wolf music is natural talent, so inventive and original... I remember a thread about PW worst song, "Battle" - I like Battle, it wasn't love at 1st sight and it took a few listening times to get my head "shaped" to it ... but in in the end it worthed. I mention this because I guess PW is my only preferred author that I really like all the work ... can listen endless times all the tracks from all the albuns without skipping a single song. Well, this was much more than an introduction but as I don't think I'll be a big forum contributor, I am trying to say everything at one time... and forgive my basic and garbled English, which is not my mother language Regards

Listening to him makes me feel rather rather good
