it's about a poster showing a blue boy and that was hanging on one of his wall for some time... he had written a song about this boy, but had apparently never played it to anyone until Bianca (from Cocorosie I assume) told him about her project... she was collecting artists "secret songs" (if I understood it all correctly) and "the blue Boy" was Patrick Wolf's "secret song"... I'd downloaded the video here (the links no longer work). blue boy isn't to be confused with 'blue bells', correct? does any one know if blue bells or theseus will be on the new album? i was wondering the same thing... i think they're different songs though since the live version of the bluebells i have talks about 'bluebells' haha and never mentions a blue boy or a poster or anything, and oh it would be lovely if theseus was on the new album, i love that song so! |

well sorry... I'm only repeating what Patrick Wolf told us in Paris... Even if now he seems to have changed his mind and song as far as that project is concerned, in the mean time what I wrote is the only piece of information I have on this particular song he played in Paris, on the 24th of june 2005.

Maybe Bianca from cocorosie was the first to hear the song yet it was not the song picked to be used on the secret songs album? is that at all possible?
