i think we need less pretentious criticism in this thread. if you are referring to my comment about Kent, the explanation is "I'm Swedish". I can understand that. =[ I'm sorry, I just get the feeling that you dislike me. anyway, here's some really strange electronic music from florida. this is Max Wood, otherwise known as Applied Communications. People often do, even when I don't. Sure, some things you do/say annoy me, but I usually try and put that forward then. Goes for most people. But don't worry, you're not blacklisted.

I'd be more pretentious if I pretended to like the same things as everyone here. I agree, fuck the wolfboard musical hive mind! One of my least favourite things about this forum that a mass of people don't seem to listen to anything but Final Fantasy, Beirut and Animal Collective, well I'm sure people do but it seems like a minority of people who talk about anything that falls outside the current bands considered "cool" by Wolfboard consensus. In fact this forum can sometimes seem suprisingly disinterested in music for you know a music forum. Rant over. Hows that for pretentious criticism eh?

Kate Bush DiscographyThe Kick Inside (1978) Kate's debut. My standout tracks include "Kite," "Wuthering Heights," and "James and the Cold Gun". The "Wuthering Heights" single reached number one on the charts; "In reaching number one, Bush became the first woman to write and perform a UK chart-topper." (Thanks Wikipedia!) Lionheart (1978) Josh says: Released in the same year as debut album The Kick Inside, Lionheart has a bit of reputation for being a "rush job" and one of Kate's slightly lesser albums, though to me it has less of a singer-songwriter feel to it than the Kick Inside; a step forward. Stand outs, Wow, In Search Of Peter Pan, Hammer HorrorNever For Ever (1980) Josh says: One of my favourite Kate Bush albums maybe second only The Dreaming. It's one of the most theatrical and eccentric collection of songs in The Kate Bush oeuvre. Stand Outs, The Wedding List (like a song from a musical written by Jacques Brel), Army Dreamers, Breathing. The Dreaming (1982) (Thanks, Christina!)Hounds of Love (1985) Standouts: "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)," "Hounds of Love," "Cloudbusting," "Jig of Life". This album has "two sides"-- the first five tracks compose side one, "Hounds of Love". The next seven tracks make up side two, "The Ninth Wave". The second side is a concept piece, about a woman lost at sea and facing death by drowning. The first side is never described as conceptually anything. Aerial (2005) (Thanks, flockofleaves!)NB: This post will be updated as more uploads occur.

oh, and stentor returns: I made my way via last.fm to your Disco Bunny track-- great job with that! have you made any other music? ps. I get a 'not a valid url' response to your Applied Communications link... thanks a lot... i haven't really had time to record anything since i wrote that song because i've been busy with school... on the other hand, i really would rather write music than be in school. i'm really glad you like it, though! as for the songs... i think i've been using code incorrectly. i'm going to try again: Applied Communications - Get a Load of my Faggot Whistleas for the honeycut, i listened to it some more and i decidedly only like two tracks. so if you guys still want it, i can fix that link. i would love to post some more albums, though. i have jacques brel, yann tiersen, kate bush, bjork, and serge gainsbourg discographies, to name a few... and there's lots more.

Unnecessary double post to note that the other post has been updated to my statisfaction. Also, I can probably upload Dreaming, unless someone beats me to it. I'll be gone all day tomorrow.

[Though I do lovee Yann Tiersen]
