Would anyone be overly kind to send Larrikin Love's album? Pretty please? p.s. Will I be able to purchase this in London? I know I can't seem to find it here....

I was inspired to put this up my a msn conversation with The Penrose and The Jarvis. One of my favourite albums ever, but I'm not sure if its just because I identify with it so much in some really twisted sort of way. It captures my childhood demons in musical form. Some of the music on here is downright terrifying yet it still has a big bubblegum noise pop side to it. You might recognise early nineties indie disco fave Love Your Money. My favourite songs are Pink Flower and I Hope All Your Dreams Come True Daisy Chainsaw Eleventeen www.sendspace.com/file/3bqri1

Would it be okay if they were all in mp4 format? iTunes format that is. Because I am way too lazy to go get the CD, save it all to Windows Media, and convert it to mp3. Unless you need it in mp3. Then I'll do it for you. Heh. (I could probably get it on here by tomorow.)

Yay! I CAN BE LAZY!! Also, if anyone has any Fionn Regan, or To My Boy, or Bob Marley, or Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - SHARING WOULD BE APPRECIATED. (I spent all my remaining money on movies and Chinese food. ) P.S. OR DAMIEN MARLEY'S WELCOME TO JAMROCK. THAT WOULD BE REALLY COOL. But I highly doubt anyone has that...

www.sendspace.com/file/2497usNo New York is a compilation album released in 1978 by Antilles Records under the curation of producer Brian Eno. Although it only contained songs by four different artists, it is considered by many to be the definitive single album documenting New York City's late-1970s No Wave movement. The album became well-known in underground rock circles; an unrelated album was released in 1981 entitled Yes L.A., featuring the band X. In 2003, Criminal IQ Records, along with Brian Costello's Protomersh Records released a CD that paid tribute to the two albums' ethos of scene documentarianism by releasing a compilation titled Maybe Chicago?

I was listening to that just the other day. Fun stuff. My mum saw Roxy Music when Brian Eno was still in the band, she says its the best gig shes been to, ever.

The Stills - Logic Will Break Your Heart If you've never heard this album, I would suggest you click the link below...definitely one of my all time favourite albums, and they are fun live. They're from Montreal, and I guess they'd be under the 'general rock' category, but this album is so much more. www.megaupload.com/?d=INQNY7MQ

Fo Merro rapidshare.com/files/64963236/BARR_-_Summary.rar.htmlBARR - Summary last.fm wiki: "Brendan Fowler (born 24 March in Berkeley, California) is a musician, best known for his work under the moniker BARR, based in Los Angeles. He is a regular performer at The Smell, a DIY music venue. He also co-runs Doggpony Records and is a co-editor of ANP (Artist Network Program) Quarterly - a Los Angeles based arts and culture publication funded by RVCA. He has recently played at the seminal New York performance space, The FUCKING fdfghjkKITCHEn, and has been featured in Artforum Magazine. In 2006 Fowler curated a show at David Kordansky gallery in Los Angeles. New England Roses, a band consisting of Fowler, Sarah Shapiro, and Le Tigre's JD Samson, released their debut, Face Time With Son, in 2005. His new electronic-folk-pop band, Car Clutch, had their debut performance in fall of 2006. BARR, which originally consisted of only Brendan Fowler and his iPod, toured with Snowsuit* and Hawnay Troof in 2005 and Xiu Xiu in 2006. After releasing Summary in 2007, Fowler formed a full band with bassist Corey Dieckman, pianist Ethan Swan, and Kevin Shea on drums, touring with 5RC labelmate Marnie Stern." This is a really awesome album, yep.

Jesus Christ. I had to stop going to bed and re-open Firefox just to say: this album is exactly as amazing as I'd imagined it. I know this just by listening to the last song. Lauralauralauralove.
Okay, buh-bye Firefox, again.
