And personally, I think if you REALLY wanna get a Potter-related inking, you gotta go for the Dark Mark. It's the only way to do it, man. hahahha, well a time ago, I wanted to tattoo the dark mark, or the words: Tujours pur (Always pure). (Don't know if its spelled correctly). But then I kind of realized that it sounds a bit racist. So I changed my mind...

if you're going to get inked in another language make sure the spelling is correct because it will be embedded in your skin foreverrrrr!

haha well, if I would tattoo that, I would look up the spelling, but now when I just needed to write the word down here I didn't care if I spelled it wrong Im lazy, yes.

I have evil plans to get little stars (my very own tribute to the Little prince) behind my left ear.
And some fitting tribute to someone/thing on the right.

I realise this makes me so old, but...
How are all of you people ever going to get jobs?

Depends what type of job you want, Michael. I realize the job I will likely get suckered into, which is why the tattoo I am having done will be out of view of the public, as long as I don't wear something backless to work, which I obviously would not. Certain occupations I've heard don't allow tattoos on hands, wrists, forearms, etc...but for the most part, if you can cover it I think it's alright.

I realise this makes me so old, but... How are all of you people ever going to get jobs? Cheerio, Michael. xxx You do sound like a really old man, Michael, but it's one of your more charming features. Personally, I don't think all of the scarring on my arms makes me look like a GREAT POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE, and more like a massive suicide risk, so I'm going to go down the route of leaching off of the government until my inevitable mid-life crisis. Seriously, though, I'll probably work a series very low-paid and shitty jobs or become a housewife.

^^scars have only once been brought up in my work experience, in the interview they casually asked and i said i was in a car accident and my arms went through the window. don't know if they believed me but i got the job anyway.

The number of times I've asked for job application forms or if places were hiring with my arms on display and been shot down like flaming wreckage is ridiculous. "No, we're not hiring at the moment." Really, mate? You've got that sign up. "Oh, yeah, I've been meaning to take that down."
No need to talk in such a vague, dipsy manner. I know you just don't want a worker who looks like she might pop her clogs and then you have to hire someone new all over again.
Speaking of interesting things to tell people, I quite like the "I was attacked by a bear." It works best at parties where it's dark and people don't squint too closely; 'cuz, hell, mine look like something wild has gotten onto my skin.

But, tattoos are so normal these days, my dad has tattoos covering both of his arms. And it has not been any troubles for him to get a job.

I like wearing things with long sleeves. And I plan on getting jobs through connections rather than earning my own place.

I'm less worried about potential employment than the possibility of having a permanent reminder of what a tit I was when I was 17.
