I'm glad I'm not the only one still waiting for The Acne Tapes - from what I gather, 'The Hairy Song' was always meant to be on there, too... Sometimes I feel like we've been doing this for too long Mister Michael. What did you think of the Scala gig? Do I have to post in a different thread...I'm not really up with these message board things. If I may, I would suggest you wrote it here: patrickwolf.proboards37.com/index.cgi?board=pw&action=display&thread=1123520885&page=9And generally speaking, it would make things easier is everyone wasn't starting a new thread to post their pictures of the gig. It's the principle of this message board: you can always and easily go back to previous posts and threads. Thanks Chaaalut Anne

You can try to listen it on this live recording ( even if it's a very bad record - maybe it's better to wait to listen a good one) but i give my live impression...
I liked this song. It's based on electro, on one side there's rude and indus beats and on the other side something more liquid, light, flighting beats help by chorus. It's the receip of bjork's music. That reminded me very much when i listended it to a björk song, mostly " desired constellation", even if it's very different. if some of you like what she usually make, you most know that song. But it most reminded me the live version, on Vespertine tour, than the record song on Medula ( don't like this version). And.... maybe it most like the live version she did of " namless" or of Desired constellation but on " canal+ ", the live she did of Medulla. Impressive and unique gig of Medulla. ( and it was on french tv)
So, everyone now, has understood that i'm a huge fan of bjork...

"The Stars" is a truly beautiful song it makes me so excited for the third album, but we have to be patient.

I waited to years for my favourite band's third album, and in the meantime they said that they we're going to take a break from touring twice. (not that they actually did, but the breaks they took were a lot longer than any of those they had done earlier)
Somehow I survived...
(unfortunately there's still a sad ending to it. haha)

kaizers orchestra ( www.kaizers.no) If you're going to check them out I'd rather check out the old albums, especially the first one (Ompa til du dør).

hehe. they smash oil drums and use some other funny instruments.
They're fantastic live (I've seen them nine times now), and despite their norwegian lyrics they just got signed by Universal Germany, who gave out their third album. (Which, unfortunately, I don't like.)
You should go and see them if you get the chance!

hmm, i guess i just assume this album will be good no matter what, since he hasn't disappointed me the in the past. I'm most excited for the music videos, because i think in one of his blogs he said he was trying to mix tapdancing and krumping. that is definitely going to be a sight.

I strongly suggest you waited: the only live recording I heard so far sounds more like the space shuttle taking off then "the stars"
