Despite the amazing song, Penzance is a hole. I don't see the attraction people have with cornish villages... I live in cornwall and the only thing i bother to go and see is the Eden Project. That's reaaaal good.
They're nice pics though

That's reaaaal good. They're nice pics though well, maybe there's a reason behind the fact that all the pictures I took in Penzance are Still Life, and not quite Penzance-related. I went there because it seemed like a good place to start from to reach Land's End. I didn't spend more than 36h there... It's only just a seaside town. But I guess there might be some drama when you go there in the winter and the place is desolated. I had the feeling "This Weather" could have been written there too. The thing is, if you're staying in the area and you want someone to come over, you'd tell 'em: "Take the train at Paddington and come to Penzance, and I'll pick you up with that freaked out double decker bus". ;D

Ace photographs, I get the feeling those photographs give off every time I hear WITW. Are they your words on the last Penzance pic? Despite the amazing song, Penzance is a hole. I don't see the attraction people have with cornish villages... I live in cornwall and the only thing i bother to go and see is the Eden Project. That's reaaaal good. They're nice pics though I suppose if you live in Cornwall, there's no attraction to it. Having lived in a majorly industrial city in Australia now in London, I crave places like Cornwall where nothing's happening. I do agree from the pictures of Penzance though...looks like a bit of a man made hole.

Are they your words on the last Penzance pic? Nope, these are not my words. I was actually at the Penzance bus-station loo before my bus to Land's End would arrive, when I read those words on the inner side of the one I was "sitting". I found those words so great that i decided to take a picture, but mainly because I didn't want to bother writing them on a sheet to remember them for later I guess that if you manage to go to those ladies room and open the doors, you still can find them written there...
