maybe I didn't look properly, but I don't think these have been discussed before? my problem is that my recordplayer is broken, and it will play everything too slow, well and it wobbles, so it changes speed aswell, it's awfull!.. so it's 7 inches at 33 speed ;D (now try listen to the childcatcher live at a slow speed, it's quite creepy) anyway, therefor I have not heard those b-sides the way they where meant to! and I hate it! PW songs right under my nose but can't be listened so who of you did hear them and what do you think? from what I could make of it, augustine is also a different version, yes?

Well, firstly, Augustine is in fact Augustin, so it's an old folk song, BUT a good intro for the re-worked Secret Garden (II) which I prefer to the version on the album.
I'm not really fond of the use of live versions of songs as B-sides. I'd really prefer unreleased songs, but these are quite ok...

I really liked the live "Luna & the Libertine". It feels more intense than the album version. & different enough.

well I finally heard a version of luna/the libertine. I don't know how people manage to convert their 7 inches to mp3, but I'm happy they do , so I could at least hear this version. still would like to hear augustine decently, sorrow by nature; yes secret garden is a different version, I would be so interested in hearing it! so augustine is just augustine, hmm well it sounds completely different played at the wrong speed

Hah, well, I think you're missing that there's no E at the end of Augustin... Which is the old Austrian folk song that he's recorded. Some small technical knowledge needed for Vinyl -> MP3 conversion, mainly just a cable between stereo and computer... I could make a guide if people are interested? /t
