Hi, I'm Clare, I'm 15 and I live in England (specifically Northumberland). I discovered Patrick Wolf about 8 months ago after I stumbled across the video for The Libertine and felt like it was the sort of music I'd been seraching for without even realising it. After looking up a few more songs I bought all his albums within the space of a month and basically just fell in love with his music. I'm yet to see him live yet ( ) but I'm really hoping to on his next tour, I think if I did I could probably die happy! Other music I like: well there's a lot really but I'd best not give you the whole list, the main ones are probably David Bowie, Kate Bush, The Smiths, Muse, PJ Harvey and Florence and the Machine books: Virginia Woolf, Oscar Wilde, Sherlock Holmes, The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, a Clockwork Orange, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and in terms of recent stuff I'm a pretty big Harry Potter fan and I love Neil Gaiman. TV: Doctor Who, Sherlock, QI (and pretty much anything involving Stephen Fry), The Mighty Boosh, The League of Gentlemen... I watch a lot of telly really I don't know how often I'll post here really, I have a habit of just lurking on messageboards quite a lot, but hopefully I will and make friends with people on here, you all seem lovely! x

Thankyou! Hehe, awesome to know there's someone else who likes them <3 (I'm still kind of new to PJ Harvey, I've only got the most recent three albums so far, Let England Shake is probably my favourite of those three ^.^)

out of the last 3, let england shake is my favourite polly album as well. ditto. but i can't do a ranking between... 'dry', 'to bring you my love', 'is this desire?' (my first) and 'stories from the city...' too hard, man. and i got confused, i killed a nun i can't help the way i feel

thehazelwoodfaye YES, twas most confusing but brilliant too, the Silence are such a great idea. Can't wait to see what happens next week! ohh yes they're so scary! reminds me of the episode "Blink" and the weeping angel stuff. I never understood what people found so terrifying about the daleks, but these monsters are creepy... ha, I feel like a child for being scared of Dr Who monsters
