Hey. I was going to post in some unused threads, ('Teratology' + 'The Conqueror') but they didn't really fit into what I wanted to say and it had been a long time since either was updated. Today on twitter Alex (aboycommemoi) asked Patrick if he would be working on a 'The Conqueror' EP in the extra time leading up to 'Lupercalia''s pushed back release date and Patrick replied ''...am preparing something my dear. although it wont be the conqueror, working on compiling it all on the road.'' This lead me to wonder will we get a 'The Spinster' style release in conjunction with the album later on in the year? And if so, what tracks/demos will be included. Also a few weeks back Patrick mentioned in an interview that he is recording a cover for a Thin Lizzy tribute album: flyfm.co.uk/2011/03/jaye-harrison-interviews-patrick-wolf/ Patick announed he is doing a cover of their song 'Old Town' backed with a string quartet! So that is also something to look forward to... Anyway I think it'll be good to compile any future 'Rarities' etc news in this new thread (If the Mod's don't mind

His cover of "Old Town" was played through the speakers yesterday before his gig in Vienna, and it sounded UH-MAZING. I do hope it'll soon turn up as a B-side or similar

^thanks well it has an odd charm, so quaint could just about fit? just for the randomness, re-translated translations would give me: pastoral, queer, bizarre, grotesque, charming, funky, peculiar, rustic, witty, picturesque, cute, golden, cosy, mellow, funny... english = endless fun

^ So that was the song nobody near me recognised! You could've told me earlier, Margaret By the way, has somebody figured out the lyrics for Wild Life? There are some blurry moments when I have no idea what he's singing...

Yeah, i'm sure Wild Life will be on it. Most of all i hope to hear Demo version of Time Of My Life from Battle Megamix - one of the greates his songs, for me.
