I couldn't find a pre-gig topic for this show! So here's a post-gig one then:) I'm not very good at any sort of coherent reviews when it comes to my most favourite artists, so excuse the lack of constructive review. For a while I wasn't sure if I could go to this gig or not, but luckily things got sorted out... personally I think this topped the London show(well, if you don't count the events after London show!). Maybe I've just so much love for smaller venues, maybe it was the setlist at Bristol... this rather intimate venue reminded me a lot of Guildford in December. I can't remember the setlist song by song, but highlights for me were definitely Ghost Song, Souveniers and Godrevy Point. The rest of the photos. Also met some people from the board, so hey to you all, and thanks for the company:)

I love small venues and gigs as well! It feels more intimate and warm: the artist seems to be performing to us instead of performing to a huuuge mass of crowd.
Looks fantastic! Especially the Ghost Song. I love the song already and that was just amazing. He's voice... I could just listen to it for the rest of my life and die happily.
I really wish I could've been there! :--p I'm running our of adjectives. Oh and have you posted somewhere about your meeting with Mr. Wolf?

Thanks for sharing, Andy. Thelka is a good, intimate venue, and the day started well when some of the band / stage crew waved at me as I passed the Thelka on the way from the station to the Ibis hotel.
Then a brilliant performance by Patrick and his band, and Rowdy Superstar.
Then right at the end a shout-out from Patrick to me made not only my day but my year.
Meeting Patrick afterwards was the icing on the cake. I also chatted with some of the band and Rowdy S.
I enjoyed Koko, Dublin, Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester as well.
