It's winter, it is HIGHLY LIKELY you have the sniffles. Let's bitch and moan and feel lethargic and SWAP TIPS here I'm at the early 'scratchy throat and runny nose' stage. I hate my sinuses!

I've been at uni for just over eight weeks now, and I have spent almost the whole of that time with some form of cold; it's RIDICULOUS!

I don't remember the last time I took a day off because of illness. It's not that I don't get sick - I just can't afford time at home to rest! Which probably makes me ill-er, really. Either way, I'm getting something... now is a really horrible time for it though, I'm right in the middle of exams!

I just got out of my last one and not a new one in sight at the moment. Apart from that I'm CONSTANTLY in various stages of catching a cold during fall/winter. Last week my sinuses were apparently trying to crawl out through my nose and I had a day of sleeping somewhere around fifteen hours. Also due to working too hard, I guess. Anybody want to buy a warm deserted island which the wolfboard can use as a collective winter retreat?
My only real advice, though, is DRINK TEA. Loads and loads and loads of it. And don't move around too much. That usually makes it spread to other parts of your body. Ew!

Hahaha i'm guessing that last bit is BIOLOGICALLY TRUE, yeah? Sadly i'm not a fan of tea orange juice it is I probably shouldn't have taken today off school, but I only have three lessons and... I wanted to sleep. It's all better in the long run (is what I'm telling myself).

I've got a good amount of snot in me right now, I don't get where it comes from. But even laughing is dangerous incase I slime on a friend and they then decide our friendship is over. So beautiful.

Mmm all so gorge! I snotted all over myself laughing at a friend. Oh woe Luckily, excessive amounts of Olbas Oil (my favourite cold cure) seems to be taming the beast! Fandabbydosy.

I don't have a cold right now, though I do get them, and then I have to be very careful . While most people can shake off a cold in a few days mine easily turn into chest infections, and when they do I need to get a course of antibiotics from the doctor. I am asthmatic and am on inhalers permanently. I have an emergency course of steroids with me in case my breathing gets bad during the night or when I can't get antibiotics easily.
While I don't have a cold, I haven't had a sense of smell since December 2007. This is due to scar tissue after I had nasal polyptectomies, and solidified gunge blocking my olfactory nerves.

I hope you get the flu jab yellowbelly And if you don't have a sense of smell can you not taste food very much? I'd HATE that. I've adapted to eating so much fruit and vegetables (I was always a vegetable freak, but not so much fruit) I make a fruit smoothie everyday, have loads of juice and put like a million carrots in everything, I actually feel the healthiest I ever have and I hope I keep this up because it's a really nice feeling
