Soo, but late for this thread because it's tonight. Is anyone going? There is a student thing on tonight in Cardiff called Carnage where 1000 students go on a huge pub crawl dressed in Christmas theme. Cwlb Ifor Bach is around the back of one of the clubs just to warn everyone haha.

Amazing amazing amazing. If you're going to Guildford or London and he's even as quarter as good as he was last night you're in for a treat. He's back, he's happy, and he's on form like you wouldn't believe.
First time I've stood front row at a Patrick gig; when the stage is about 18 inches high and there's no barrier, well, it's a near death experience.
The Hours sounds wonderful, really wasn't expecting that. I'd love to write more but I have to go to work still buzzing from last night. Brilliant!
ps: Hello Mr Yellowsomething or other, nice to meet you, and cheers for being an ace handbag passer!

It was soo good. The Days is back and sounds amazing. I think he played 3 or 4 new songs, The Hours, The City, The days, and something else. Who Will has been given a new arrangement into a dance tune. There are two new members of the band, Georgia on guitar and woodwind and he has a new drummer who's name I have completely forgotten :s. Of course he still has Victoria, Nick and Jonathan playing. Oh and Patrick now also plays a harp so beware to see a 7foot harp onstage.

Lighting was rubbish in Cardiff. But that's the venue and not him.

Thank you for the re-caps of the show! I am excited to hear Patrick was in great form and also envious of those who were there and are attending the next shows. Sure hope he tours the US next year so I can witness the magic live. :-) Interesting about the harp and new drummer.

does anyone have a set list? what was he wearing? Set list, from my piss poor memory and in no order at all; bluebells, house, who will, damaris, the hours, tristan, the libertine, wind in the wires, magic position, time of my life (with a 'worst time of my life' chucked in that I'd not picked up on the recorded version. ) plus the new songs and no doubt sone more. He was wearing a red jacket with what looked like a matching shirt and trousers but which was a one piece. Black vest under that. Jacket came off. Shirt kept getting undone. Encore with shirt bit tied around waist, then shoulders (I'd hate to have to even try to iron that afterwards) with a glorious black and white shirt over. I have some crap iPhone pics I'll post when I get home later this week if better ones don't surface, and some even crapper footage where I had to stop filming because I was in danger of getting headbutted by the world's lankiest Young Santa lookalike...

It was nice to see that he was so happy, someone shouted and asked to hear The Childcatcher and he said 'No, i'm in a much better place to be singing that...'
