I can't believe I registered in Jan2009 and have never really posted anything apart from brief comments about gigs!
*disappointing*
Well anyways, the time has come when uni work and uni fun are out of the way and I'm left with a job and a laptop, thinking I should probably do something else on the Internet in addition to staring at my facebook wall for hours.
I am rubbish at forum-introducing myself, haven't done it since I was 15 or 16! Argh, struggling on, I currently live in the lovely city of Cardiff, studying European Union Studies, being a massive film snob and obsessing over Bowie the God, Menomena, Beirut, Pulp, Grizzly Bear, The National and so many others. Oh and Oscar Wilde.
Patrick's been my glorious obsession for a couple of years now! (Ah the time flies!) He simply sums up everything what I want to see in an artist or a musician. And a person.
I saw Patrick in London Palladium last year, luckily and illegally making it to the second row in the middle of the gig, which turned out to be the most beautiful experience of my life. Will never forget 'Hard Times'- REVOLUTIONARY no doubt. I was waiting for Patrick after the show and made a total silly fangirl out of myself when he came out!
I hope to act like a 20-year old next time I see him, make more sense, not to shriek at the sight of him and not to go hysteric screaming "OMFG I'VE JUST MET PATRICK WOOOLFFF" after..
Would love to get to know you better, it'd be absolutely fantastic to meet fellow Wolfpack-ers (i've totally made it up now, sorry if that doesn't make much sense!) and have the time of our lives at the gigs to come!
Oh,
forgot to mention
I'm Anna!
