hmm last time I've been to a theatre was in March and saw One Flew Over The Cocos Nest It was absolutely brilliant.
My mother-in-law works in one of our local theatres, so I can get in for free (I usually sit either on the steps or a single chair close to the wall, but it's always worth it.)

About two years ago saw Macbeth. We had to read it in school and I thought it would be nice to see it on stage. I quite liked it.
first witch "Where hast thou been, sister?" second witch "Killing swine."

I saw Potted Potter last year (All seven Harry Potter books in 70 minutes. It's amusing.) I'm going to see Stewart Lee later this year and Jimmy Carr next though

Patrick Wolf As You Like It at The Globe theatre (or is it called Shakespeare's Globe? Pft) Either way the one by the Thames that's a recreation of the original. It was absolutely incredible, standing there as a groundling and being so close to the actors, and they got so involved and were in the audience so much it was like a pantomime. Plus the play is hilarious and the actors did their lines perfectly. They threw roses and copies of Orlando's poem but I didn't get either

I saw The Sound of Music last night.... really enjoyed it! The set was amazing, the added songs weren't horrible, and the children were really good!
The only thing that annoyed me was that the woman who was playing Maria (who won some television contest thing that I never watched) wasn't very good! She was an alright singer but everytime she spoke I had to cringe a bit because she was clearly trying to sound like Julie Andrews in the flim, and it sounded wrong.

I haven't been to the theatre in aaaaaaaages I think the last thing I went to see was back in October, and it was this absolutely BIZARRE production of Dracula with supposed 'trapeze work' in it. Ie. occasionally one of the actors would sit on the very low trapeze, swing about on it a bit, then get off it. And every so often Dracula climbed up a curtain for no apparent reason. None of the audience could take it remotely seriously

I saw Wicked last month. It was so good, but then so ... slightly embarressing... when I found out that the male lead was a washed out Australian Idol finalist who I was sweet on. How nice of my family to point it out to me (Cringe)

somewhen between christmas and new years eve i went to this city's small, but lovely theatre to see "the Robbers" by Schiller. It was done in a kind of modern style - not too much, far new neo or anything, but you could actually say it could'ave been only 2o-3o years ago rather than two centuries. one of my fave actors of this theatre, of course, had to play that lad that dies so soon, hah.
I'm as lucky as to see "the Physicists" by Duerrenmatt in three weeks as well. and it's even for free for me. Uhm, can't feel so good about this at all... though again this play they had in theirb programme so many times by now, i surely won't take anyone's seat. in fact it always makes me pretty sad to see more than 1o empty seats in a theatre...
