I got my braces off ;D No more pain - and shockingly good teeth! Although so good that they don't really suit me, its a bit of the John Bishop effect And I still have to wear a retainer. Good thing! I wish i could say that too, i hate having them and i've had them for so long And yes, the braces hurt, A LOT!

I'm home from uni for Christmas! Haven't even been back for 24 hours and a random neighbour has already come round to give me some piano books for no apparent reason, plus I've had the best night's sleep I've managed in ages! I love uni and all but it's good to be back Congrats on getting your braces off I never needed them (so my teeth are still a bit wonky!) but loads of my friends used to moan about them so they didn't sound particularly fun

I really want braces so I can have nice teeth, but my dentist hates me and says 'STOP sucking your thumb and Ill give you them!!!' and bitches at me! Come, give me a break, I've stop doing it in the day and evening, don't do it when I'm bored and distract myself by tapping and moving my hands! I put it in my mouth once at night, remember and lie on my hands, which hurts and isn't comfy!! I went home crying like a baby when i was 8 coz my mum had left the room and the dentist screamed at me to stop. (She changed my dentist coz I refused to go back because i was scared.)
I made the important bit small coz I feel silly saying it. I'll probably never meet you all but still...

Aww! How does that damage your teeth exactly though? My dentist was positevely dying to give me braces but i didn't want them haa, i don't think they're worth it unless you have reaaally bad teeth to begin with (as i did).

It like, pushed your top jaw forward and makes it pointy, but i dont suck it, just place it on the roof of my mouth so the front teeth are normal shaped! If i sucked it properly, my teeth would be set horizontally!
My teeth could be bad, my two front teeth cross over slightly, my bottom left insicor is crooked (not as bad as when i was little, it used to be completely twisted around!)and my top left canine is set above all my other teeth... (the canine is my dentists fault because they refused to take out the baby canine no matter how much I asked because it wasn't wobbling! I could feel the 'grown-up' tooth coming through and they waited till i was 14 to take it out! It had died at the roots so it wouldn't of came out unless it was taken out...)
Get google images for childrens teeth who suck their thumb and you'll see how they would be if i actually sucked it. I just place it on the roof of my mouth so they look normal!

Oh god Thats awful it makes me glad for teeth I have now! Yours don't sound too bad though.. i used to have a massive gap between my two front teeth (even when i had braces they kept pulling them apart until my dentist noticed and made them get pulled together.)

I never needed braces, my brother and sister both did - it seemed horrible so i was really glad i didn't need them I have slight vampire teeth but you dont really notice it The orthodontist actually said i didn't need braces but i could have them if i wanted, or if i wanted my teeth to be absolutely perfect i could have jaw surgery!!! I was like "em... NO!!!" Why would you do that if there was nothing wrong with your teeth???

Ohhhh Alan Rickman's voice... Don't suppose anyone saw him in The Song of Lunch whenever that was on, did they? It was basically this 50 minute long dramatized poem consisting mostly of him reciting a massive monologue and it was BEAUTIFUL. Anyway, what made my day was seeing old friends

I'm been deciding where to put it (my *Patrick Wolf WHOOP* calander, yes i've been doing that since i got it shush) without feeling like a stalker. I want behind my door but i can't find a strong enough pin, and i'll have to rearrange my drawings around it. And above my bed is abit awkward and stalker-ish... And it cant go on my wall side-ways above my bed because I already have a Patrick Wolf poster on it.
I feel like Sheldon out of The Big Bang Theory, poor man does thing over every little thing.

Haha, this made my day a few days ago as well! I've got a hook for it to go on at home which is fine, but I'm not sure what to do when I head back to uni as there's nowhere to hang it there and technically I can't stick a nail in my wall as the landlord might get mad :/

Its all you guys fault. Last.fm has seeped into my brain, I've made an account and I'm loving it... I shall bombard my mates so they stop saying 'Think of a song for me to download on my phone' and when I say one they look at me like i said Justin Bieber. (excluding 2 of my friends, they would rejoice)

What made my day today was that I went to the museum and also bought some new makeup, big fat colourful headphones and a new ds game. Also in the morning my nan took me out to buy a new coat and new underwear (i now own awesome spongebob knickers ) I originally went out to buy tickets to see All Time Low but the doors were closed and I cant order them off the internet because the gig is tomorrow, that annoyed me, and walking back to my friends in the museum I was so cold I had decided my hands were now equal to ice... But good day overall!

^ 'I may have to start putting posters on the ceiling' haha, my sister used to have a poster of Justin Timberlake above her bed! Thats why i have a little obssession on where I put things in my room Also today I have made the best biology notes in existence! (What makes them the best is that I drew the bones in detail and labelled them, freehand) and tomorrow I'm telling my teacher to give my team a permanent smiley face! I'll modify this post later which pictures of them. I filled a whole two sided sheet on growth and repair in bones, the pelvis and spine, and I've got loads more to do still like bones in the arms, legs, the skull. Also different types of breaks... Its my own fault, everyone else was on the computer doing this (read playing on games and talking, but i was talking to Sir before i started and he said today he couldnt be bothered teaching*) but I know what I'm like, I wont remember it if I'm just typing it out... * I know this because I asked him if he doesn't get sick of doing biology after studying it for ages then having to teach a bunch of kids that might not be interested. Truth is I only like it because I get to draw in more detail than a load of experiment equipment in chemistry, and the lesson is more fun. I like the other sciences and I love my form tutor, she's the chemistry/physics teacher as well, but it takes me a while to get used to the idea that I cant just say the answer to her and the class. She still enforces the 'hands up' rule which makes me doubt my answer. Every other class I have doesn't force us to put our hands up still... I just walk up to my other teachers, except History, I call him over and say my opinion and he sort of explains the backstory of what we're doing and why your opinion is right and wrong.

I'm reading a book called The Ask and The Answer (I demand you read the full series, its called the Chaos Walking series) . and the character called Davy has been a heartless bastard , okay he got gradually nicer to Todd but still, all the way through till this bit (back story: In this world all of the men's and animal's thoughts can be heard by this thing called the Noise. Mayor of exiled town has invaded the capital and in short is pointing a gun at the girl Viola, and Todd is standing infront of her so the Mayor can't shoot) Hope this doesn't land me on the wrong side of copyright laws ' "I'm waiting Viola." The Mayor raises the rifle to Todd's head. "On pain of his life." "Pa?" Davy says, shock coming out of his noise. "What're you doing?" "Never you mind, David. Get back on your horse. I'll have a message for you to take to Captain Hammar presently." "Yer pointing the gun at Todd, Pa." Todd turns to look at him. So do I. So does the Mayor. "You ain't gonna shoot him," Davy says. "You can't." Davy's cheeks are red now, so dark you even see them in the sunset. "You said he was your second son." There's an uncomfortable silence as Davy tries to hide his Noise. ' In my head that is SOO CUTEE!! ;D So cute I got looked at weirdly when I went awww for like ten minutes on and off till I decided to come and get it out of my system here Leave me alone thats made me so happy...

Aaaah Chelsea goood choice, those are absolutely AMAZING books!! I've not read the third one yet as it's my brother's and the whole family have pretty much been queueing up to read it after him 100% recommend them but it's probably worth bearing in mind that they don't make brilliant bedtime reading/public reading, as so far both have absolutely destroyed me emotionally; I'm almost scared to read book #3 in case it's even more upsetting! What made my day yesterday: good meeting with dissertation supervisor who does still think I'm on the right track with my work, phew! Oh, and watching someone I know from uni on Take Me Out was also quite entertaining...
