I've watched both of these recently and loved them equally. It's rare that anthology films work so well, but every story in these are so good. plus, Natalie Portman in both of them (including writing and directing her own clip in the New York one) gives super extra bonus points

Don't know Paris je t'aime yet but want to watch it. NY I love you just started here at the cinema. Definitely going to watch it.

Paris je t'aime came out not long after I went to Paris, so I wanted to see it but for some reason never have. I have heard it is excellent.
I'd be interested to see both, actually. Although I'm sure they'll just make me want to revisit both cities.
Ok, time to find some spare time and rent a few movies!

I just watched the New York one. Loved it. That kind of film always makes me happy for at least a day after viewing Natalie Portman is indeed excellent. And I loved all the stories but I think the one about the elderly couple was my favorite.

heh, it was fantastic that one.
yeah, both films have made me want to return to both places...though the new york one actually just made me want to live in new york. i've wanted to for years, but this sort of made it a set in stone do my damndest to make sure it happens even though it will be quite difficult visa wise and all that jazz type situations.
*le sigh*
