Liked them a lot when I was younger.
I'll always have a big soft spot for the candid thoughts on depression and suicide and morbid humour of Electro Shock Blues.
Also Susan's House has to be perhaps the most unusual and dark record ever to get in the British Top Ten Singles..
E has had a sad and fascinating life, as well as the best name ever.

I go through phases of listening to them. I can't do too much at once or it brings me down a lot, but I really like his 'love' songs. I feel that they seem more realistic than the pop love songs.

I like Eels quite a bit. Especially Electro-Shock Blues, it's a fantastic album. Last Stop: This Town was my first Eels song..........and the beauty of everything except that damn DAMN flute in Climbing Up To The Moon...
I also really like Novocaine for the Soul.....guh the man and his distortion tricks!
