I've just started to really get into his/their stuff. Lots of the stuff with David Tibet/Current 93 and I've got to say it's probably the oddest and best take of Folk I've heard for a very long time. Anyone else a fan and maybe point me in the direction of some particularly good albums as I'm just wandering aimlessly through soulseek at the moment and could do with a hand...

My friend Olivia (aka the former Milkyfingers on this forum) really likes them, well that or her boyfriend does I forget.

Night and Fog (LP)
umm which also happens to be a documentary, i'm pretty sure it was an influence.
EDIT:
so i was just perusing ssX and there's a user "IgnoranceIsBliss" and they have the whole Death In June discography, might as well start with "all pigs must die"
have fun!
OR you can try the live from athens one back in '99! I'm currently downloading it to see if it's worth suggesting!

My friend Olivia (aka the former Milkyfingers on this forum) really likes them, well that or her boyfriend does I forget. We both like them, crazy I know! I mainly like the early stuff with Patrick Leagas so I'd recommend The Guilty Have No Pride, Burial and Nada! but if you're looking for the more folky stuff I wouldn't pay attention to my recommendations. Useful. If you get the chance to see them live (although it would almost certainly be at the God-awful Slimelight in London) do go. Really great live. Do you like Der Blutharsch? I prefer them to DI6, they're one of my favourite bands.

I really like The Guilty Have No Pride. I'm not that big on putting effort into seeing bands live, but if I get the chance I will.
Soulseeking Der Blutharsch now...
(P.S. Melba. I love your avatar.)

If you end up liking Der Blutharsch you should check out Dernière Volonté too.
Actually thinking about it, I haven't as yet tried to check out Current 93 properly so what would you recommend for me on that front?

Obvious stuff would be the stuff with Death In June 1888 and theres a live recording with Death In June and someone else. In Frankfurt. That is absolutely awesome.
Swastikas for Goddy, All The Pretty Little Horses and Black Ships Ate The Sky are a few that I've listened to a fair bit recently. But there is a load of stuff that I've barely touched.

I hate that question. No answer to it is actually funny.
