She's the one who sings with The Postal Services right? I like Postal Service. Her albums are utter crap though.

I don't mind a bit of Rilo Kiley once in a while.
Plus shes rather fit. Oh dear poor predictable Joshua I hear you all cry.

I don't HATE her as such, but I really dislike her with The Watson Twins. I like her contributions to The Postal Service though.

I saw Azure Ray in 2004 and i feel asleep at the gig. They should of played at like 5pm or something because it was a total yawn fest.
At least Jenny can put on a good live show.

I don't hugely like Jenny Lewis to be honest, but she was alright live. I like the harmonies, but she seems a bit arrogant, although maybe she's not. She's really pretty though.

What on earth is there to dislike about either Rilo Kiley or the Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins albums? They're not amazing, but they are very good. Great melodies, some excellent lyrics.

They're just kind of bland, that's all. Both are quite predictable, and sort of paint-by-numbers. They're fine, you know? But nothing all that interesting.

I can see what you mean, I guess, in that she's far from groundbreaking compositionally, but that doesn't mean she's not worth listening to, or accomplished. I like her voice and I like her lyrics, and I think the arrangements she uses are sometimes great too - I think it's Born Secular that has a really unexpected and wonderful drum solo, which you totally wouldn't expect from a country song normally. Also I think if you're going to be criticising people for making boring music there are much, much worse offenders than Jenny Lewis - Chris Martin for one.

Hey, you know, I went to see her live, and she was fine... I'm just saying she's boring, because this is the Jenny Lewis thread. Anyway, I liked Coldplay's Parachutes. They got dull after that, but I think a lot of the Coldplay slagging is just 'cause it's cool to do so....
