I could get completely lost in San Paulo. Made Up Love Song #43 is so joyous and uplifting I want to raise my arms and run along a beach yelling 'wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.'
I missed the gig at Bristol due to work commitments so went to see them at Cheltenham Jazz Festival a couple of months ago. It was a free jazz set where they only played a couple of songs at the end. I don't like jazz. However, there were moments of sheer brilliance among the self indulgent twaddle which I really enjoyed. Fyffe's voice is quite wonderful.

Yeah, the improvised set. Some of it was shockingly self-indulgent, but there were sections where I finally thought I'd finally seen the point of jazz.
Huge amount of people walked out through that gig, and being all seated was a somewhat unusual experience too, don't you think?
