Seeing Ed and Patrick together in Dylan Thomas' boathouse and that entire weekend is one of the highlights of my life.
Larrkin Love were good, but I wasn't too bummed when they split up cos the early The Pan I Am demos sounded brilliant. Unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill from there, from him working with Craig Template (the worst act I have ever had the displeasure of seeing) to changing his name to Edward Eke.

^ And now Micko Larkin working with, shudder, Courtney Love. Edward Eke, though, are you joshing?! That sounds atrocious I only ever saw them once at HMV in London, but man I loved the Love

I haven't heard anything from him since the early The Pan I Am demos, which you're right, they were really good. Sad to hear this.

I became a massive fan of Larrikin Love after they'd split up. Discovered the Pan I Am, decided it wasn't as good... And I could have seen them at Cambridge but I decided to go to an awards ceremony instead, which was crap anyway. Would have been better going to the gig! But yeah, I still have the CD on fresh rotation on my ipod.

I always wondered what they sounded like as they are the first "similar artist" that comes up of Patrick Wolf on last.fm but i've never been bothered to check them out. Alas I play the youtube video and they appear to be rather good!
