Is it a new album or the album of rarities/b-sides?
Anyone pick up a Roberto Cavalli beaded/sequined dress at H & M recently!?

Which dress is that? The really expensive one on the billboards, or the cheap-looking silver one we saw last weekend?
Oh yes, and I am also very excited about the New Album! I don't think it really matters to me what's on the album, I have faith that it will be wonderful whichever way he goes with it.

On the billboards!
Also: I hope everyone has gotten the insults out of the way. Let's all move forward and be all happy and glittery during these November days?

Ah, I'd like to see that dress in person, I think! I'm a bit on the blind side, I didn't get a really good look at it from far away.
I agree, I am glad we're all back on the positive side of things. This thread was really nice before all the ~*~drama~*~ happened.

I was just wondering, is that offer of you lot taking a collection for me to spend the night with a shepherds bush green hooker still open? I mean just hypothetically and that..

glitter is the best stuff in the world. Reminds me of the days of seeing Rachel stamp and exploding glitter bombs - more often than not it would just be the ones exploding them who got most of the glitter, i used to get covered in it. lovely.

DO YOU THINK a beauty spot sequin extension into face art would work? on my travels around the very few clubs where you won't get stared at for dressing how you like, or you'll at least be appreciated by the people who are staring, I have seen some beautiful sequinned face art... perhaps it is something to consider. copydex is just like liquid latex isn't it? hmmmmmmmmmm maybe Saturday night. maybe a sort of glitter sequin combo. my eyebrow pencil no longer matches my hair so I use glitter to fill my eyebrows in.
in other less shallow stream of consciousness news.............. GOOD GRIEF. I woke up this morning and the sun was out and some of the drama was gone, and now the drama here is actually kind of sort of gone. I think today is a red and orange day. I am still terrified of this grand finale though....... it sounds a bit mega. blimey!!

Sequin eye masks (as in the old masked balls, not the sleeping variety) sound interesting - shall have to play later. I think its easier to stick them on with MAC mixing mediums or Smashbox Offset/Benefit's She Laq sealant (at least from what ive tried with stars). What colour glitter are your eyebrows (ingenious)? Wolf always seems to have marvelous comebacks! (Though i detect a hint of US spelling...) Good morale all round - and you most definitely need sparklers for the finale!

Oh the many many uses of sequins... sequin face art reminds me of the RainboWarriors video by Cocorosie, i remember someone on there with amazing star-shaped sequins stuck in a row on top of their eyebrows. It looked wonderful.
Also, substituting sequins for shoelaces works really well, i recently re-laced some leather boots with strings of sequins that you can buy at haberdashery deparments and the like, 30p a metre! What a deal..

sometimes i need to get rid of my mic stand in the way of the irritating uninvited industry cameramen. Right. Still not impressed. Though it's nice to talk about sequins. I used to go into that shop in Covent Garden all the time as a child, I had sucha bead collection, but I don't think I ever did anthing with it. When I got older I did things like dread them into my hair.

What a deal.. Oh wow! What a wonderful idea. I have my formal tomorrow night and I am wearing silver elfish shoes with laces but I was thinking the last hour or two how I could jazz up the boring laces a bit.. now I know what I am going to go and buy first thing tomorrow morning!! Yay!

The girl (cant remember her name) was stunning in person, though the male friend we were with thought she was a drag queen. He is a Slipknot fan (wears 'Slipknot' clothing) - there's no accounting for taste.

oh I relaced a load of shoes with satin ribbons... they have got a bit grimy in the city but it kind of adds to it... sequins on strings is a marvellous idea too.
my eyebrows are red glitter (face painting shops = BEST for glitter), I went a brighter shade of red for the festive season, and my dark red eyebrow pencil no longer matches alas! but a homeless person outside the post office yesterday did tell me he liked my hair as he sipped from a bottle in a paper bag.
if you go for sequinned Venetian masks you HAVE to make sure there are plumes of feathers too...

This is starting to sound like a plan miss!
Everyone at the gig should sequin up as a farewell of sorts.
