- Ok, so I've got the 7" with the patrick wolf remix on it, but which one of them is the pw remix? Anyone else sorted this out?
Maybe it's just me being silly. but thx anyway.

- Ok, so I guess this one deserves an explanation. Don't want the word "stupid" stamped across my forehead. ;D - Since I'd prefer to keep my collection in as mint condition as possible, I haven't actually listened to the 7" and was trying to sort it out by just reading the label. My plan is to play it once and make an mp3 of it. - Just noticed today... the store where I bought my copy actually has a second copy, so I'll just buy a listening copy. thx anyway.

In my eyes your explanation makes you look more stupid.
I hate all this collectors mint edition nonsense. Someone else could have bought that and got plenty of enjoyable moments out of playing it. Instead you are going to stick it on your wall in the hope someone is impressed by your collection.

Instead you are going to stick it on your wall in the hope someone is impressed by your collection. There's no need to be rude. Some people enjoy collecting. Buying the singles/albums/re-releases (probably more than one copy too) is not a bad thing at all. It means that the artist can continue to make music. That's a good thing right? Jo

Im sure the artists would rather people listen to their music.

Yeah sure. As an artist I can confirm that I would like people to listen to my music...very much so, that's the whole point of making music... but I'd also like them to buy my CD when I release one or buy a ticket to come and see me play and if they buy more than one then great - I won't have to worry about paying the bills for another week.
I'm sure there are collectors who do not listen to the music they collect which is a total waste (I agree on that point) but there are plenty of fans/collectors who do.
But the main reason in responding to you in the first place was that sometimes I find your attitude to-wards other members of this forum insulting. I know you enjoy debating, so do I, but do you really have to be so harsh and occasionally rude with your comments?

In my eyes your explanation makes you look more stupid. That was harsh and uncalled for - reign it in a little bit, or I will have to fetch my beating stick. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

- Ok, so I guess it was a bit harsh, but hey, maybe I deserved that. No hard feelings anyway. My plan was to stick to the records so I'll still have a spare copy a few years from now, preferrably in a condition as good as possible, since sound quality gets worse with time. - If I don't need it, I'll sell it later. For now I'll listen to my mp3 copies of the songs, which are both easier to play and fits a bit more nicely in my mp3 player. Patrick Wolf has a daily space in my life, and every little song or snippet is appreciated, so I really DO listen to the music. Don't want to cause a fuss. Sorry guys and gals.
