When he smashed his guitar to pieces I was a bit shocked first but it was a cool rock'n'roll action I really hate it when musicians smash up instruments on stage. It makes me very sad. There are loads of struggling bands out there that can't afford to buy a half decent guitar. If you don't want it, give it to someone that does, you tosser! I know I could be looking at some negative karma here, but I feel really strongly about this. This sort of behaviour should have died out with rock'n'roll dinosaurs like The Who! +1 I agree! And we were standing in the first row, so it was a bit dangerous as well.

Don't know about the Deer Tracks, I thought they were pretty bad.. Smashing his guitar was just silly, everyone standing near me was laughing when he did Aaanyway.. Patrick! He was just awesome. A friend of mine who came along and didn't know Patrick at all was like: 'Dude, why is he wearing a towel?' So great gig I say, pity he was 'ukuleleless' though

Piggy Song is Pigeon Song. Setlist was the same in Paris and we couldn't figure it out until he played Damaris and then Pigeon Song =).

Thanks Romi for the playlist. And I also thought the Deer Tracks were pretty bland. The first song was quite good but ended up being a red-herring.

Hey all, I went to this gig and loved it, managed to get pretty close to the front but had some short friends so let them stand in front. Was a great show though - and glad you all enjoyed! So are we all the fans from Belgium then? I'm english but live here, and would love to get in touch with other fans

Who is going to the gig in Brussels this year, on the 1st of April? I saw they put him in the Rotonde, a much smaller venue than the Orangerie It's SOLD OUT already! (Which in some way is great of course, Patrick deserves the honour:)) If someone has a ticket to spare, I'd be eternally grateful;) It's not even for me, I secured mine, but I have a friend I'd like to make as happy as I am.

ETA: someone asked for a ticket in the request tickets thread before you did it here and I didn't see it. as you didn't reply yet I'll give the other girl a chance. first come, first served.
