I'm really looking forward to the show tonight. I saw Patrick once in 2007, so this'll be the second time for me. Yay!

I came home from Brussels an hour ago and I'm still euphoric . I'm so glad that I went there!! ...although the night became a bit too adventurous (do never ever walk alone through Brussels after midnight if you're a girl!) Later I'll come back and post the setlist (from Marcelo) and write maybe more but now I have to work 3-4 hours and I didn't even slept one single hour because there were annoying children in my trains. It's quite strange that I'm still awake without any sleep... What was in my coca-cola?! edit: omg.. he played Lands End!!

I liked it but it's a shame he had to get his ferry and he stopped near the end of Theseus (wasn't it?) cos he said he had made a mistake and did it again...
I liked the violin players of his band but the two other didn't seem into it, wonder why...
but on the whole it was cool

I loved that he played Paris and it was definitely worth spending the night on the streets of Brussels for!

Great show, but no encore unfortunately. Like Bo said: Patrick made a mistake when he started Land's End (the song after Theseus) and then started again.
He talked a lot to the audience, mostly about this show being the last one of the tour. He also mentioned an unfinished song he wrote about Brussels some years ago (it was lacking a verse) and promised to debut that song the next time he'll come to Brussels.
The first outfit was some sort of grey drapery, the second was something gold.
I really liked The Deer Tracks too.

does anybody know the name of the last song the deer has played before the guy broke his guitar?^^ It's called "Yes this is my broken shield"(live better than on cd). I could sing along to the whole song what made David grin like a cheshire cat ;D. When he smashed his guitar to pieces I was a bit shocked first but it was a cool rock'n'roll action .

It was such a wonderful concert! The best performance so far and so much better than in Amsterdam. From the beginning you could see that he was in a good mood this night. He played Paris!I wanted to hear this song for so long, I even made a poster saying’ Paris’ and on another side ‘ Wind in the wires’. He said it was his favourite song, but he couldn’t play it because his ukulele broke during the tour. It ‘s a shame , but I am not at all disappointed.

It was a truly great gig, very tight musically speaking. I've seen Patrick Wolf live over a number of years now and it's the happiest I've ever seen him on stage. I hope that, after his disappointing foray into major-dom and rock'n'roll hell, this new album truly will be a new start for him. I'm all too willing to fall in love with his music again. I had a huge smile on my face during the whole show. If someone could post the setlist it'd help me make my review of the show.

If someone could post the setlist it'd help me make my review of the show. Marcelo folded it as paper plane and let it fly to me after the concert . Here it is: - Patrick didn't play Kriegspiel and Vulture at the end but a very long version of The Magic Position including parts of the song Orpheo(beautiful!) - he added Lands End - the A in the word stars actually is a star - what was this "Piggy song"?! xD

Near the end of Battle he also played a piece of the PJ Harvey song 'Sheela-Na-Gig', which I thought was really delicious.

When he smashed his guitar to pieces I was a bit shocked first but it was a cool rock'n'roll action I really hate it when musicians smash up instruments on stage. It makes me very sad. There are loads of struggling bands out there that can't afford to buy a half decent guitar. If you don't want it, give it to someone that does, you tosser! I know I could be looking at some negative karma here, but I feel really strongly about this. This sort of behaviour should have died out with rock'n'roll dinosaurs like The Who!
