this is news to me, haven't seen it posted here so thanks very much! cool stuff. i don't really know what i think of the cover. it's.. interesting, ha. i've still not read the whole article so maybe i'll come back with something more in depth in a minute. eta: yeah, what's with the ms paint style text... anyway, sure, i guess it works as a concept. it looks a bit cluttered to me, but then the magic position cover was really cluttered as well i suppose. hey, that remix is pretty bang.

Oh! Thanks for that!
But if it's for real and this is the cover... I don't know what to think. Maybe I like it as a photo but as the cover of the album...? I don't know. it won't be my favourite anyway...

A transformation of Lycanthropy. I like it. It's very different to all the others, and they're very different to eachother. Cool (:

Lycanthropy updated for Wolf in 2009? I've felt for a while now that this album has more in common with Lycanthropy than the others. Which is obviously good. Interesting. If he'd updated the picture for each era it would be cool... I think I'd rather have a completely new, original cover.

aha, good work, i was wondering when this was gonna get picked up. I love the album cover, what a contrast. It's like a sneak peak into a family album; there's younger london patrick in lycanthropy, aiming to break into the scene and establish himself, then fastforward a few years, and here is forest patrick, getting ready to charge outa the woods and do battle. reminds me of a comment i reada while back; he said he felt he appealed strongly to those on the fringes of britain, be they the country towns and villages, the small rich districts of a city, the student neighbourhoods of a university town. something musical that is not quite mainstream culture, but willing to adopt mainstream concepts on the journey. something smart and sexy, this is what The Bachelor album cover reminds me of :pX

I actually really like it. I think it will be interesting when The Conquerer comes out too, to see the contrast of the two album covers, and also i wonder what the double album will look like (if thats still coming out and the reports are wrong). I think it is cluttered as someone says, but when you read the article and it explains about trying to have everything before going on the road, it makes perfect sense, and i also think the link to Lycanthropy is a nice thing, as he kept saying in the blog he was going back to his roots.
Either way, i'm just curious as to how the little booklet will look, because i think thats one of the best things with buying a CD, having a look through when you first listen and try and take it all in, reading the lyrics and looking at the art and photographs (which is something Patrick always seems to do really well).

wow i like it! wonder what the conqueror will look like..? that "Tobias Doppelganger Wildlife On One Remix" of vulture is probably the worst remix I've ever heard. i reckon the beat is all out of place and yeh really does not do vulture justice. YAY album cover, NO remix haha

I agree, don't like the remix very much. Also, my mind keeps thinking of Tobias Funke, which is kind of a weird place to go to.
I quite like the colors and use of Lycanthropy font in the album cover, but am not sure about it as a whole. My immediate impression was "Gackt!" which is also sort of strange and uncomfortable.
.... Uh, this post was brought to you by the words 'sleep deprivation.'

Happy with the cover art, fits well I think. Don't really like the remix, but I'm never a big fan of remixes anyway.

remix is rubbish,
like the photo, and see what its trying to do with the text - but its not exactly the same as Lycanthropy, and doesn't quite work does it?

In Youtube vid chapter 4, he did say he was at a Bachelor cover art shoot in the woods..
I like it, apart from that pink spark bit (wut). That tent thing with all the squares looks a little bit like something out of the mighty boosh, maybe? Haha. It's well cluttered, but i'm loving the Lycanthropy link and the v. Patrick-y font and the woods!

I like it, apart from that pink spark bit (wut). Yes - it looks like a mistake! I like how all his album covers have some cohesion. And this one clearly a take-back to Lycanthropy. I've already said I like the font on the vulture single so yes, I like the font.

I really like it! It really reminds me of the Want One cover art, or maybe my Rufus-obsession has just completely taken over.

I really like it! It really reminds me of the Want One cover art, or maybe my Rufus-obsession has just completely taken over. Different angles but sort of same expression. Similar colours... And they both look as if they're dressed for battle. ;D I think I like this cover. Not entirely decided yet, though. Who knows what'll change before it's out. I mean, the Magic Position sampler had a totally different cover than the actual album. /t

I really like the photo! But the font feels very flat, or something. It needs something to make it look less, tacky in a way. Other than that, it's really good.
