yeah, i've seen loads of little ads on the side bars in various places. and i saw an ad for the tour on last.fm the other day! very snazzy indeed.

I gave in, downloaded flash player, listened... it induced a rainstorm, seriously. The same happened when 'Hard Times' was aired there too. (had trouble not typing 'Hand Times')

does anyone think this is a bit of a silly idea? surely less people are going to buy the album if they have already heard it on myspace for free? or maybe the most people listening on myspace are the type of people who will buy the album anyway? i guess we'll find out :S

does anyone think this is a bit of a silly idea? surely less people are going to buy the album if they have already heard it on myspace for free? or maybe the most people listening on myspace are the type of people who will buy the album anyway? i guess we'll find out :S no, because some people want to hear before they drop $$$ (this probably doubles if you're buying import). the goal is the opposite, to expose the music to more people in the hopes that they will want to buy it. besides, this hardly some new phenomena, listening parties whether online or in person has been going on for a long time, like predating the internet long time. don't really see what the quibble is about. anyway, hope i listened to it last night and left a long-winded comment about it already, it's great! i think so anyway.
