I just got this the other day: My face didn't feel bad after washing it with the tomato soap (the only soap that made didn't make it feel like shit) but now it feels great.

Clare, what is that for? Is it a cleanser or some addition to make the face feel even better after tomato soap? I heard tomato soap will dry out the face, so I am wondering about that. I prematurely ran out of the gentle cleanser that my prescription was bundled with, and I need something that won't parch my skin.
Ana, I know Biore sells a shine control mousse-like moisturizer, but my sister hasn't noticed a difference with it. The bottle is very pretty, though.
Also, my skin is at LEVEL NO-NO, which means it is at its worst point of the cycle. It is when I can't even forget about it because my face is PULSING. I seem to have an endearing but bizarre curved line of evenly spaced infections.

I say this in the least bitchy way possible, but some of you guys sure put a whole load of chemicals on your skin

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I did an assault course the other day {a long story, but basically we were on holiday in Wales...} which was fun. Anyway, I was crawling around in clay/mud/water stuff for a half hour or so and now my hands are baby-skin soft and lovely. I don't know, but I wish I'd shoved my face in the mud Also, sea-water is bad; it's made my face lumpy with little spots everywhere. More than before. So I don't suggest swimming in the sea.

Oh, that is marvelous. Toners are supposed to dry out your face. I have found a fairly comprehensive anti-acne guide: www.acne.com/It is very nice.

I can't join your acne club but sometimes I get one spot a few days before menstruating. Once it was exactly on the top of my nose and everybody was staring

^I think your skin looks pretty good actually, what's your secret? Ugh, acne is a bitch. I was fine before I went to uni. That website is a fun read. I like that it says about sleep. I haven't had a good sleep really in the last 4 years, which sort of fits in. Anyway, I have a prescription for Zineryt, which sort of works, I don't get as many spots as I used to, but a few of the sods crop up. The scarring is rubbish though

The scarring is rubbish though vichy's normaderm moisturiser. it's pretty pricey but it does work. also oddly my skin calmed down when i stopped using harsh cleansers. the scarring is the worst bit for me. i don't get acne so much now, more just a wee scattering of spots from time to time but i still have the scars from when i did. never found anything that works on them...
