Bloody brilliant. Hot sweaty, up for it crowd. Patrick & band seemed to have a good time and so did we! Endearing between song banter.
Anyone remember the set list?

Kriegspiel Oblivion Bluebells Count of Casualty Damaris - with intro Blackdown A & E Tristan LIbertine Battle Who Will? Theseus Lands End Messenger Hard Times ----------- Vulture Remix Vulture Magic Position
He didn't play the Vulture remix though; dunno what that was about. I still wasn't sure at the start but when A&E started...everyone cheered up (especially the drummer who'd been looking quite annoyed for the first few songs!) It really was a return to form; Patrick clearly enjoyed it as much as his fans did. A&E through to Battle (included!) was simply stunning; Battle was far and away the best song from the new album (I was surprised by this myself!). Only negative is it was the old songs that I enjoyed the best and I suppose I wouldn't miss any of the new songs if he didn't play them next time around.

Also I swear he sang some of the lyrics to Peter Pan at the end of Bluebells. Or was I just imagining things? :s

Still, it was pretty good yesterday. I was in fits during the whole cameltoe Vulture. It was made even better by the fact that as soon as he came out for the encore my boyfriend pointed out the cameltoe for me. Here's hoping somebody puts it on youtube! Also, I thought the Vulture remix was just the jam type thing everyone was doing before he reappeared doing Dalek voices? EDIT: Cameltoe is indeed on youtube right here.

I thought that as well; that he seemed a bit distant during the first few songs but got into after A & E.
I nearly fainted when he came into the crowd. It was amazing.
Definately the best Patrick Wolf gig I've been to yet.

Definately the best Patrick Wolf gig I've been to yet. Really? He was miles better than in Gloucester but in terms of putting on a show I don't think it quite beats TMP days - Latitude '07 was my personal favourite, but then again it was my first time of seeing him live.

I can agree with that. Gloucester was the first time I ever saw him live and while I was pretty blown away by him, last night seemed more intense and rawer.

Yeah; I was so gutted by Gloucester I regretted investing in Bandstocks. But I didn't need to worry, he was back on form last night

Aha...
By the way, I apologise to anyone who was on the barriers last night and had a bloke with messed up hair, dressed in a plaid shirt, elbowing them in the back, in time with the music. It was seriously packed down the front!
I'm in the bandstocks boat as well; I was seriously annoyed about the whole 'over-18' thing for the limited edition of the album though.
