yeah Latitude is such an awesome festival. people are actually there for the music and the arts and the literature, as opposed to just being there to get wasted and party. LATITUDE'S A REAL MUSIC FESTIVAL.

I heard an interesting fact about this festival...apparently there's no VIP area? So perhaps the artists will be camping with the rest of us. That should be fun.

Hi It's with great regret that the organisers of this year's Redfest have had to cancel the event. Having worked tirelessly for 18 months to secure the acts and promote the event the organisers are desperately disappointed not to be able to go ahead as planned. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: In accordance with your Statutory Rights you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price + postage. The booking fee is non-refundable. By law we are required to ensure that all refunds are issued within 28 days of today's date. We will endeavour to ensure that your money is returned to you sooner than that if at all possible. Please bear with us as we hope you can appreciate there is quite a bit of work to do at this end to administer all of the refunds. The next communication you receive from us will be an email confirming that your order has been cancelled; it should then take between 3-5 working days from then for funds to appear back on to the card that you paid with originally. If you have any queries, please email us on the address at the foot of this email. On behalf of the organisers we would like to apologise to you for any disappointment that this might cause. If you are still looking for events to go to this year check out our website at www.gtickets.co.uk. All the best The GTickets Team

Apparently, they cancelled due to lack of sales. Not enough people wanted to go so they couldn't afford to run it. I'm glad I'm getting a refund but still, I wanted to gooo.
