I really didn't like Magpie until I heard this version, the one he played live on occasion, well, it just wasn't very interesting, I got bored...

Ahh I feel so stupid I've been listened to Overture a few times today and only really noticed how beautiful the lyrics are "It's wonderful what a smile can hide if the teeth shine bright and it's nice and wide so magical all you can keep inside and if you bury it deep no one can find a thing" I love the way it means something different to everyone. Everyone hides something about themselves from the world and the way Patrick explains it seems so beautiful to me You can tell me I'm talking bollocks but that's just my opinion I guess

Yeah I wasn't too bothered about magpie until I heard this version. The first time I heard it, on the uke, I thought it was a bit dull. But the versions with Marianne, and indeed with Bishi at the union chapel gig, are amazing. x

You probably already know this, but that same site is one of the spots I get my music from. -my parents won't let me get limewire or anything like that, cox they're afraid of virusses- It's pretty easy to download all of those songs.
