This movie was just on last night. I kind of laughed at some parts and then got pissed because some parts were cut out. Did this movie scare you when you were young? I remember I always would run out of the room when my sisters would watch it.

I almost watched that. But then.. I did not. :-\ I remember it being frightening as a child, yeah. But lots of things frighten me. Like the dark... I might have also thought it was kind of silly even then.
You know what's a better movie? Hocus Pocus! I want to watch that now.

Also, Hocus Pocus will forever and always be utterly fabulous. I love the cat. Oh Binxy! It's all about Thora Birch. 'Kiss me, I'm Allison!' The Witches was a tops book, but it annoys me that they changed the ending for the film and completely missed the point. Although Ruby Wax is in it, despite the fact that she doesn't have any lines, and the Grandma is fierce, so I'm sure it all balances out. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

It's all about Thora Birch. 'Kiss me, I'm Allison!' Oh, man. I had forgotten entirely about that. That was pretty fabulous, I can hear her saying it in my head. (That sounds kind of pathetic..) I really need to watch it again. Why do I not own this movie?

I've never seen the film, but the book/tape used to scare me when I was younger, and it probably still would.

Never seen the film and I really dont want to. Because it's Roald Dahl, he's meant to be read. Same with Dr. Suess, it's why i've not seen "The cat in the hat" But The Witches...I liked the book but the tape scared me!

That book frightened me so bad when I was little. I was forever looking out for square-toed women...

No seriously Michael, which scene? Or it is like a split-second-frame-shot-only-the-quickest-Youtube-nutters can find? Cuz my remote control is shot; the pause button doesn't work...
When I was 15, I just wanted to be Ruby Wax. Aaahh- nostalgia..
