Oh I do, I do. The funny thing was that he thought it went really well, to the point where he actually sent me a message a day later saying, 'I think I love you'...'i think i luv u' to be exact. That was some pretty bad judgment on my part, and it was only about a year ago. I haven't been on a date since. Too scary. Ahaha, aw, that sucks. I hope he didn't stalk you. But, you know... i think i luv u 2

Well, it probably isn't that funny unless you can actually picture the poor guy.
There was this boy who worked in the corner shop, well, I say boy, he was probably about 23/24. He was a bit pathetic in an endearing sort of way. Very tall and skinny, to the point where I thought he might snap, very very pale, had bleached blond spikey hair and about 50 different nirvana shirts. He was nicknamed Nirvana freak- although I feel bad about this now.
Anyway, I never ever spoke to him, aside from the usual thanks/cheers etc...but I did go in there almost everyday on the way to school because it was next to my bus stop. This was around year 11 I think, so I was 15. Then one evening I was trying on a new outfit in my bedroom, which was on the third floor of my house, and my room looked down onto the road outside, but I'd never realised you could see in from outside...ooops
Anyway, then my stepdad knocked on the door and said 'um....Hannah, there's a strange boy outside looking up to your window...do you know him?' So I looked out, and there he was...he saw me looking back at him, which obviously terrified him and he toddled off.
So that was that. But then a couple of days later. I heard shouting outside, and there was Nirvana freak, quite drunk, calling my name...argh! How did he know my name? My good old stepdad heard him and went outside, and just said 'Look mate, she's fifteen and you're rather drunk...why don't you pop off home cos you're gonna wake the kids up'. And he just started swearing and shouting rather obscene things about me...Which wasn't very wise. My step dad threatened to punch him and the guy staggered home. The next day my mum went in the shop and had a word with him, apparently he went bright red and started stuttering a feeble apology to her, which she found rather amusing. We thought that was the end of it...but the very same day, at about one in the morning, when my stepdad was putting the bins out, he found Nirvana freak asleep below my window! He gave him a bit of a kick to wake him up- cue another obscene argument, which made my fifteen year old self feel rather sick. Then my mum came out, and he was saying stuff like 'I want to fuck your daughter'. Whiiiich didn't go down very well. My mum threatened to call the police and then he ran off. Yet the next day when my mum went to speak to the manager of the corner shop, he was all humble apologies! I was too scared to go into the shop for two years. It was only after I'd left home that I went back in....and he was still there, still wearing Nirvana shirts, and still bright red at the sight of me.
Bless his little cotton socks (that probably have Kurt's face embroidered on them)

Yeah, it's not really helping to give me a balanced outlook on humanity, and men in particular. There is the odd amazing fantastic person though. And all you awesome internet types.

It's really great that you have a special someone ( I hope that's what you meant anyway). I've been looking for so long... Only to come up empty-handed.

Whiiiich didn't go down very well. I should hope not! He sounds creepy in a funny sort of way. But sleeping under your window is mostly creepy.

No That's not what it means sadly. I've had nothing but bad luck in that department. The only time I thought I actually found someone was not long before I had to go live in France and he had to go live in America. Then he found himself a better version of me. I was referring to my three best friends, who are beyond incredible. But you really are most awesome Alei, there'll be someone amazing and fantastic for you- no doubt about it I don't look. In fact I outwardly reject most people without any logic reasoning, which is really annoying.

Nirvana boy seems to have had some emotional problems. It's a sad story for all involved.

I rather wish I didn't, I alienate myself as a result. And America will spoil anyone.... I do have some best friends that make my life incredible, too. It really helps. So do you. :-) Thank you, love.

I keep hoping I'll grow out of it. But it gets worse.
In a way though, I like the fact that I am completely on my own. I have no-one (at the moment, really no-one around me at all) to lean on or be influenced by. Some people I know have been surgically attached to someone else since they were about thirteen. I have loads of time to grow up by myself and, without wanting to sound like I collect crystals or anything, I feel like it's enabled me to figure out who I really am.
Sort of had enough now though. My mother says I am wasting my youth

I've been a loner throughout high school. It's weird, I almost had a cult following this year though. People would applaud when I came into the cafeteria. I'm pretty sure they just wanted to embarrass me though. I have some really close friends now, and I've never really had that before. It's really great to be able to care a lot about someone other than yourself.
