No patrick hating, to a massive extent. Similarly - and within reason - I think that some people should learn not to take criticism of Patrick's work as a personal insult. Whilst outright 'hating' is lame beyond the telling of it, there's a hell of a lot of 'do no wrong' going on at the moment, and we run the risk of becoming akin to the Tori Amos fan community; all too often I see the words 'amazing' and 'genius' applied to Patrick's shoes, or his between song banter, and it starts to lose it's edge. This is not a rule, just something I think people should keep in mind when posting. Carry on. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

Yeah, the blind faith in Patrick being a perfect human being is a bit much. I also find that a lot of people assume too much of Patrick; 'oh, he'd never do that' / 'oh, Patrick would think this was hilarious' crops up too often for my tastes. Again, not a rule, merely something to think on. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

The "PW Tendancies" thread makes me laughhhh.
Plus, I don't recall ever actually seeing outright hate on this board. Maybe on the dark day that was April 23rd and what followed, but that was different I guess. People freaked out. Myself included in this.

I think we should bring in my proposed 'vigilante' rule, as I like to call it:
You know that game where you shout "YELLOW CAR" and punch the person beside you if you see a yellow car? This is kind of similar. Except instead of seeing a yellow car, you see someone posting, "I'm going to get smited for this, but...", and instead of punching the person next to you, you smite the person who uttered the afforementioned comment.
It's for the good of the community, really.

The "PW Tendancies" thread makes me laughhhh. Me too. I just imagine all these little old ladies gossiping. "Oh I hear he's taking the drugs," and "That Britney is such a bad influence." haha.

Cheerio, Michael. xxx I get exactly what you mean, I notice it a lot (and am guilty to it sometimes, although I try not to praise completely inane things, like his shoes). But when you get people signing up and posting just for the purpose of spreading bullshit and insulting him, its just like... 'You are on a PW fan forum. You are never going to win! We are quite obviously never going to agree with you…' And yeah, I think it has much to do with... what happened. That time. Patrick does have a good point: "i have to take enough bullshit from other parts of the world for what I do and who I am without getting it from here". I think the reason he reacted so badly to what he read was more because of where he read it, rather than what it said. We are his fans, so we should be standing up for him... But then again, if we all spend our entire time discussing him like he can do no wrong, it all gets rather pointless and repetitive. It's a tricky one.

I´ve been on holiday so I haven`t been able to post.
I think it would be terrible if the forum became a quote book dedicated to making witty comments.
