No! Not at all! I'm just saying. There's not much anyone can do about that. I don't know why people react to you more extremely than they do to Melba and I doubt anyone can actually explain it. Well whatever it is it makes me wonder why I bother.. Well actually I know why I bother just I like this place and all my great friends here. But I'd rather not put up with all this drama everytime I state an opinion. I dunno it just feels like the third law of the schoolyard "Never say anything unless you are sure everyone feels the same way" Thats an exaggeration of course, but it feels like it isn't sometimes.

(im not bringing the past up, just saying) well i honestly didn't think it would venture into sex lives and how sex makes your flow lighter, so to my dismay i read it and then blammo. i stopped reading it after josh told me not to, end of argument.

I will agree with Josh and say that I think some of the in-jokes are getting a bit out of hand; it's getting to the point where we need a 'Handy Guide to Wolfboard In-Jokes' thread. Case in point, there are whole threads which run along the lines of '<4 <6 <7' / 'oh yeah ha ha lol lol lol'; I don't even know what that shit means.
I made the Forum Forum for this kind of thing, because I wanted to keep the Common Room as clique-free as possible, so if people could play nice, I'd be very grateful.
The smite / exalt links were funny at first, but like all good jokes they've gotten old in the retelling. I'm not going to kick up a fuss about them, because so far they've been harmless, but I will say that they're getting a bit... well, lame.
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

In all fairness, I don't think everyone stopped linking a few hours after it started. I might be wrong, though, I went to bed. The only ones still about are the signature ones that I just can't be bothered to change...

I'd stop too, but I am actually quite determined (pathetically enough) now. I don't even find it funny, to be truthful. It is past the pure levels of hilairty/copying Luke to PURE, UNBRIDLED DESIRE.

errr the last link i posted was the one about mine and sophie's boobs, but if you guys clicked that and expected to see our boobs then it's your own fault for doing so.
and to be honest, I don't know what <4 <5 <6 means either? I just jumped on that bandwagon.

I still don't see what the fuss is about.
I'm not part of these in jokes but they could never irritate me, I don't see how they could irritate anyone. That they do amazes me. Quite frankly having a section of a forum intended to absorb cliqueiness and in-jokes is ridiculous. The big scary world offline is dominated by clique-groups, if they don't like already established friends making jokes amongst themselves then tuff, it happens. Some people here can be far too sensitive.

<4 is one up from <3. And so forth.
Might as well:
Don't know what Sexfield is. Honestly don't care.
Melba throwing her shoe at people, I think, was originally an event that took place offline and now it's teased about.
Flirting with a forum is an in-joke between Meryl and I, and probably anyone who was in that MSN group conversation. Basically, every time I respond with just a face (I.E. (; ), Meryl makes fun of it by claiming I'm flirting. Etc. Originally, it was "ALICIA IS FLIRTING WITH THE [msn] ROOM!"
Done.

:-\
I don't really think the board is all that alienating. Maybe to a painfully shy person?? Well, that's me. When I first joined I didn't post for awhile, but then, quite recently, I just started replying to things. And I haven't had any trouble with in-jokes or feeling left out, or anything like that. If I come across them, I just take them for what they are, and assume the people with them are having a good time. In-jokes are almost unavoidable, I think.
