This might be a really weird place to ask for tech support, but since everyone here seems to know a lot about everything, I'm giving it a shot.
My wireless router, a Philips Snd5600, works perfectly. I currently use it to connect two computers, my PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and probably other stuff too... BUT, for some weird reason, I CAN'T connect my Nintendo DS, which I'd very much like to. So, has anybody else been having similar Wi-Fi trouble? Any suggestions on how to solve this would be fantastic.
I've tried all kinds of things, like disabling firewalls, WEP-keys and just about every setting there is in my Router setup... Is it my DS that's messing around with me? Is it broken? Incompatible?

Is your DS recognising the network at all?
Some people have trouble connecting to the network, some people have troubles connecting to the internet through it

i'm guessing it's incompatible?
mines doesn't work with my ds either, try searching google to see if any other people have problems with it, that should give you an idea whether it should work or not

Well, when I search for a network, mine comes up, but it just can't connect properly. I've even tried doing a manual setup, which doesn't help either.
I find it really strange that the Wii is able to connect to the same router, and that the DS finds and connects to the network too, it just seems as if it can't get through some kind of protection or something.
I haven't found anything when Googling it, apart from stores selling bot my router and Nintendo DS'es...

Hmm, I imagine you've got ZA on your computer, but does your router have a built in firewall as well?
Failing this you could buy a nintendo usb wifi adapter. you'd basically be using your computer as a router instead of the router itself, but it's more or less guaranteed to work.

Do you think it would be possible to use my wired connection for the computer and use the USB-thing that I have with my current wireless connection to do the same re-routing trick? That is, send the signal to the computer wired and from the computer via the USB-adapter?
I've considered buying the official Nintendo adapter but it's sort of more expensive than getting a router that's been confirmed as working, so I'm ready to try most things.
And yeah, I've turned the router firewall off, and on, with just slightly different results, but I'm still stuck. I've also tried keeping it on with some MAC-address forwarding and such. Still no luck.

You should be able to route your wireless connection through the computer, yes. But I can't help you too much there. My mac experience in that sort of thing is pretty limited. I'm struggling finding any online support for your router, though.
Well, good luck. Sorry I haven't been too much help.

Thanks a bundle, anyhow. I'll see what I can do.

Problem solved. No one had told me that my router "passphrase" isn't the same thing as a valid key. So, with some googling, all worked out nicely. Thanks for the help though. /t
