Today, my disciples, is a good day, henceforth a day I shall celebrate and teach my house to celebrate for all the years to come: Fidel Castro, the enemies of the free peoples of Middle Earth, has perished.
His people in Cuba and the exiles in Florida rejoice, and the fate of Cuba hangs in the balance.
My students, join me in celebration, and join me in the call for an immediate occupation of Cuba by the land, naval and air forces of the American Empire.
Let us march with Our Great Armies into the streets of Havana, led by Patrick Wolf, as he heroically marches unarmed and unarmored in front of the many soldiers, flanked on either side by cheering Cubans on the eve of their liberation from the evils of Satan, The One With The Gun, and his ingenious device, communism.
Today is a good day. Even as I write this, The One Above sends his thunderclaps in approval. God is pleased.

hmm mixed feelings about this.
You can't get around the fact that Castro was a homophobic, freedom of speech butchering dictator but Cuba was certainly better offunder him than the play pen for American Gangstars it was pre the revolution. So you know not shedding any tears for Old Fidel but a little concerned for what will become of Cuba and its people now.

It's scaring me that so many news sources are citing Perez Hilton. What is going on here?!?

"Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that U.S. officials will be holding a press conference shortly to announce the death of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro." perezhilton.com/?p=4398There are so many things wrong with that sentence.

Until BBC News tells me this, I'm not going to say a thing other than this: my foreign politics might be shit, but Castro makes/made me more than a little uncomfortable.

I understand all of this, apart from the bit about Patrick Wolf. What? What has he got to do with anything?

Interesting that someone cares enough to make a seperate 'identity' just to announce the inveitable, after it was only a matter of time before he popped his commie-clogs...
But Josh Knows (tm), Cuba's relations with the US have always been fraught and I see no grand future for the island(depiste their excellent health/education system). I mean, with the talks of Guantanamo being closed, will Cuba gain much from an enforced democracy? Maybe Cuba's clock has finally run out and the American Dream will roots itself once more into the remains of another crumbled attempt at a non capitalist state...
We watch and wait...

Stuff that is actually more important than Lindsay Lohan on crack revealed exclusively to Perez Hilton.WHAT A WORLD. Also Sebra, voiceofreason = not Josh. hehe.
