Placebo's first album. It's getting-ready-to-go-out music. Though you have to make sure you're ready before the last two songs, because they're a bit sad. Jx Haha, so true! I love listening to that record while getting ready to go out. I always end up listening to that or the faint - danse macabre x

The medic droid - Fer sure (its a little bit sick, but it always gets me hyper) Anything by the feeling I can't think, i guess i just love emotional songs. Agreed with the magic position that is the ultimate happy song !!

In every music thread I say the same thing. This one is no different:
LOS CAMPESINOS!
They're ace-rer than you.

The Beach Boys song Wild Honey is probably the most joyful thing I've ever heard.
Carl Wilson the Beachies resident Soul and R'n'B fan seemed so thrilled to be singing something close to that kind of music, that the fun his having singing is just infectious to listen to.
Plus its the second Beach Boys song to feature theremin!
Also the whole Beach Boys album Friends, amazingly twee, but not in an affected twee indie pop way. just genuinely full of the joys of spring and a sense of wonder about the simple things in life. The title track is instant happy.

Other suggestions:
Tilly and the Wall - pretty cheerful too, oh yes.
Pretty much anything twee (apart from B&S) make me a bit giddy.
Oh yeah, The Blow. I find it hard not to grin madly at work and scaring everyone when Hock It comes on my mp3 player.

Final Fantasy - The Miner Becomes Forgetful 'specially the "luminumaluminummmm" bitty dead nice I find that one sooo boring. I am strange though. I like that live version of "What Do You Think Will Happen Next?" where he starts squaking like a bird. That one's great

Currently the whole CSS album makes me jump about in a dancing frenzy, as does the Klaxons album I know a lot of you have said it already, but yes. Cansei De Sur Sexy... People already said !!! and The Faint. I'll add The Rapture. WRM, yes. Justice. Of Montreal. sometimes Cut Copy (it depends what song)....oh I'll stop cos this could last for pages. How can Belle & Sebastian not make one happy. It makes me utterly content!
