Any of the songs from the Mighty Boosh always cheer me up Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax. I always play it to people before going into exams... GIRL - Robots in Disguise Hmm, I can't think of anymore at the moment

The Magic Position. How original. x)
I like 'Ask' from the smiths, it makes me happy when I'm in a good mood. Anyother really happy song is 'yellow submarine' from the beatles. Oh yes. Suzan Vega calms me down when I'm a bit sad or angry. 'You're my waterloo' from the libertines- In my humble opinion one of their very best songs. And, to finish it off: You only life once, by the strokes.

Placebo's first album. It's getting-ready-to-go-out music. Though you have to make sure you're ready before the last two songs, because they're a bit sad.
Oddly enough, Songs of Leonard Cohen makes me smile. It's just so sweet and cackhanded and awkwardly adorable.

'36 Degrees' being the best song on that album.

Absolutely!
Followed by Lady of the Flowers. Or Nancy Boy, depending on my mood.

The guitar line of 36 Degrees is so darn nice. I always had a thing for Teenage Angst too, and I still do.

Do you know what? I need to give the first Placebo album another listen. It was actually quite good. Especially the guitar sound.

Do you know what? I need to give the first Placebo album another listen. It was actually quite good. Especially the guitar sound. You loves it. I mean, you can forgive them the terrible angstyness, because the music is tolerable. I think you just become immune to it, and then you're free. TO DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DOOO. YOU GOT TO LIVVA YOUR LIIIIFE. TO DO WHAT YOU WAANT TO DOO. Jx
