i saw his picture/interview of sorts in Spin magazine a few months back when he was featured in the ''noise'' section, and immediately went on a mad rampage to find anything by him (Tristan was my first) and here i am!

I saw an ad for his Portland show in the Portland Mercury (a local alternative newspaper). I hadn't been to a show in a while, and he looked interesting. I looked his music up and was sold. I bought The Magic Position & went to his show later in the week. Afterwards, I bought his other albums, etc.

I found him back in January, I saw someone on a forum saying that the album had been leaked, and I'd heard of him a bit before that, but never really considered it, and then I bought Magic Position a couple of days after it came out, because the people who had got the leaked copy were hyping about it, so was NME...got hold of Wind in the Wires and Lycanthropy over time...and now, I'm hooked =]

So, there I was, shaving her back-- when all the sudden I noticed that one of her back hairs was shaped like the virgin Mary. So I went on ebay to try and sell it for a dillion dollars, like when people sell their toast that mysteriously has a jesus burn on it. or when a cheetoh is shaped like the pope-- etc. So anyways, there I was on ebay when someone told me they didn't believe it was real. So I went to google and typed in ''Authentic stray back hair shaped like the virgin mary'' although nothing came up-- the reccommended search did say ''Did you mean: Patrick Wolf is amazing?'' so I tried that. Much to my dismay, there was nothing here to prove the authentisity of her holy-back-hair-of-christ, but I digress. I did, however, find that patrick wolf was indeed amazing.
Sadly. truth be told, the above never happened. Nevertheless; I saw the magic position video on my friends gaia profile and hooooooked on! n_n

I found his music in 2005... I was surfing the net for some music to listen to... and I found a picture of him holding a birdcage in a cornfield... and I thought it looked so cool. So I first listened to the libertine and got hooked.

I read about him randomly on a blog. I bought some songs from Lycanthropy first, then The Magic Position. After about two months, I was listening to him all the time and singing his songs absentmindedly throughout the day. I wish I could see him live :/

My friend (who lives in London during the summer) really wanted to go to the concert in Montreal three weeks ago. She had no one, so i said id go with her, but i'd never heard of him. Best concert of my life and the next day I bought all his cd's and have been listening to them ever since! Love it when you discover an artist live...

On livejournal I have a guy called Jack otherwise known as 'sorrowbyname' on my friends list, he mentioned Patrick a lot. So I looked into his stuff and I've been hooked ever since.

First I heard Tristan and something just exploded inside me. I knew he was coming to sweden, so me and my sister borrowed Wind in the Wires from the library and then I was stuck and Patrick was the only thing I listned to that summer.
He's got something for every moment: When it rains, when you run, when youre down etc.
