hello all! as you I am a huge fan of Patrick! discovered him at the beginning of this year, and he stole my heart in april, when he played live in my hometown! suede has been my favourite band for 10 years, and I used to go to gigs abroad, meet fans, collect god knows what... but they split, and I am happy to say I am finally passionate about something, as I was about suede. (I love a dozen other bands and artists, but I mean on a different level) so now I travel around to see Patrick as music is balm on the soul. I have seen him live twice so far, first time in R'dam, as I have said, and the second time was in Leicester, some weeks ago. I had the pleasure of talking to Patrick when he did a signing after the gig, and felt free to make a fool out of myself. ;D well of course. although I try to make everyone listen to his music, it would be nice to talk to people who actually really love his music too. and maybe meet some of you in London in a few weeks!

I live in Drenthe Stupid place to live... When I can, I run and leave this place as fast as I can well, from my, erm ahem, archaeoligist's point of view, Drenthe is great!!! Many old bodies and stuff found in the peat-bogs! It's the first thing that struck me when I read you were from that region! www.museumkennis.nl/lp.rmo/museumkennis/i000380.html

Haha yes that's true, we have lot's of places to visit with history class , and that's nice because I'm interested in stuff like that. But it isn't a very exciting place to live.

Yes I can go on my bike to the forest, that's nice. The thing I think is annoying ( as you say) is that I have to travel and pay expensive train tickets ( for a 15year old girl, that doesn't has a job ) when I just want to see a good band.

hi everyone! i'm quite an active member of the PatrickWolf Community on LiveJournal and I've tried to get an account here before but it wouldn't let me until I was so kindly helped this morning. I'm used to the LJ community and its exceedingly simple format. so confession: i'm totally lost as to how this message board works as in how to post, or quote replies, or what the exalting and smiting business is. if someone could help a fellow diehard patrick fan out it'd be much appreciated but i'll make my introduction here anyway: I'm Isabel. I'm 15 and from California, so probably a good far distance away from the lot of you. It wouldn't do much good to tell you how much I am in love with Patrick's music because I know everyone else here feels the same, or else why would they be here. I've never had the pleasure of seeing Patrick because the one time he came to southern California was May 17, 2004 and I didn't get into his music until September or so of 2004. I think I would just die if I ever did see him live, it would be such an amazing experience, so for those of you that have you are truly lucky. I'm quite happy to finally be able to have an account on here instead of lurking, but if someone could just lend a hand in the technology factor here, since technology and I aren't the best of buds. Thanks! xxx Isabel

well! hello and welcome!
The exalt/smite thing is very new around here: it has to do with our karma-stuff... exalt gives points, smite removes them and you're allowed to give/retrieve one point per hour.
