Hey
I'm Owen from San Diego, California (USA). I first heard the Wolf Song and Bloodbeat on a shuttle going to my university. I asked the driver who the artist was and he told me. I immediatly went home and ordered both albums online. Since I have recieved them in mid april I have pretty much listened to them continuously. His music is the best I have heard in a long time. I can identify with alot of his stuff, being a young man of the same age as him with my own set of mental issues. His music takes me to a world that I have dreamt about since I was a kid, but have not yet found. I sometimes wonder if this world exists or not. I am still looking for it, but knowing that there are other people out there who at least can help me paint this picture is encouraging. Thinking about how talented patrick is makes me wish that I became interested in music at such a young age as him. The world that he takes me to is so odd, sort of nightmare before christmas-ish. Anywho, I wish that I could hear him live and eagerly await for his next album.
Love O
P.S. I would love to hear from anyone who wants to talk bout this music, or has any other music recommendations

A lovely introductory post, Owen!
It's interesting what you said about The Nightmare Before Christmas - the first time I listened to Wind in the Wires, I said it sounded like the soundtrack to a Tim Burton film.
Then that got me to thinking about Burton directing a video for Patrick, and I drooled myself into a stupor...
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

You guys are so right with the Tim Burton and Patrick connection. Maybe the video could happen someday...here's to hoping!
