abstractboy.co.uk/patrickwolf3pics/pat7.JPG [/img] Patrick was simply magical at the Metro tonight. He played a 35 minute set, taken mostly form Wind in the Wires, which ran (roughly) as: the railway house teignmouth (he was supposed to play pigeon song here, but his viola was out of tune) Wind in the wires paris jacob's lader tristan wolf song the libertine eulogy So it was absolutely beautiful. He also revealed that at the Borderline show he will be playing a baby grand piano and there will be a string quartet (I'm pretty sure I didn't mis-hear that), so it is something to look forward to indeed. Jill Mingo was there manning the merch desk and there is a new badge set for sale - 3 for £1 - one of the album cover, one of the bird and a white one that says patrick wolf on it. How exciting! I got a lovely set of photos, which can be seen on www.abstractboy.co.uk >> rock photography Also, I don't know if this has been announced here yet, but the album's official release date in the UK is February 21st.

Thank you for posting the above. I was not able to go to the concert so it was nice to hear what Patrick played and to see the photos.
I can't wait until February 14th.
