The Stars is one of my favorite songs. The line 'Look Up, Look up, The Stars' always makes me shiver. It's one of those songs that leave many beautiful pictures in my head.

My friend and i were listening to this while watching shooting stars, that was an amazing evening. That sounds about perfect. I always picture somebody looking into a lake at the reflection of stars, and at the very beginning of the song it starts to lightly rain. And the keyboard noises are kind of the raindrops falling into different sections of the lake and the ripples cascading off of one another.

I thought this was the worst song on the album for a while, but I'm starting to really love it. The crescendo is beautiful.

"Home" That line. The way that it is said. Just makes me want to start running back home.

I love the whispered bits. For some reason the vocals, particularly the melody of the words, remind me a lot of Mother Stands For Comfort by Kate Bush.
One of my happiest memories of 2008 is driving home from London with my dad, listening to this song and looking up. I have never seen so many stars. The sky was so open - you know, when it really does look like a dome - and there wasn't a cloud in sight. I could see everything, and I just couldn't stop smiling. That's beauty, it really is.

Om my God, everyone has such awesome, beautiful moments connected with this song, I thought it was only me. He played it at Latitude, right near the end and i was all danced-out and on an entirely different plane of reality and I just did as he said and looked up, and there was this big hole in the tent roof and some stars showing through. It amazed me that among the chaos there's always a little hole full of stars.

I was just going to say that that sounds like a good proverb then I realised you'd already put it as your signature. That's my new favourite saying.
